─"WE'RE GOING WHERE TO VISIT WHO?" you asked venti with wide eyes.
"ok well i can't actually tell you who we're going got go visit yet. but i can tell you we will be going to visit liyue harbor." venti explained to you.
"why can't you tell me who we're going to visit." you asked venti quietly.
"they are a pretty important person and i don't want you freaking out." venti whispered back with a wink.
"awww man venti, you know how much i hate surprises." you huffed.
"i'm sorry darling." venti caressed your cheek gently.
"although i'm sure you'll still have lots and lots of fun." venti booped your nose.
"i guess it has been a while since we traveled somewhere together." you sighed.
"yeah i guess it has, hasn't it." venti hummed.
"when are we going to be leaving?" you asked venti.
"mmm i think we'll be departing late today or early this morning." the bard replied casually.
"HUH- TODAY THAT'S WAY TO SOON YOU IDIOT YOU DIDN'T EVEN LET ME KNOW BEFOREHAND!" you ranted.
venti simply shrugged and stuck out his tongue with a wink.
"whoops must have slipped my mind." venti giggled.
"i swear." you groaned.
"well then bard it seems we have lots of preparations to do before we leave." you announced.
"well what are we waiting for let's get a move on!" venti cheered.

"ok so now that we've informed master jean at our devastating departure it's time to go let the townspeople know." you sighed.
"they'll be devastated." venti sympathized with the townspeople.
"i know right." you agreed.
"they're favorite duo having to leave the town for a while." you pouted.
"oh yeah venti i forgot to ask, how long are we going to be in liyue." you turned to venti.
"um for now i'm not sure but we shouldn't be gone for longer than a month." venti answered your question.
"that's a large time frame." you whistled.
"yeah it is, but i plan to make every second of it as enjoyable as possible for you my love." venti gave you a sincere smile.
"you're such a hopeless romantic." you rolled your eyes playfully.
"your hopeless romantic." venti teased.
"well hello there hopeless romantics how are we doing today?" an unknown voice suddenly cut in.
"oh kaeya hello!" you greeted the man kindly.
"hello kaeya." venti hummed.
"hello (y/n) and venti you two were just the people i was looking for." kaeya grinned.
"oh!" you exclaimed.
"are we in trouble again?" venti asked nervously.
"no surprisingly," kaeya diffused your worries.
"we just need you guys to come to the knights of favonius before you leave." kaeya smiled.
"alright we'll be there after we run a couple of errands!" you tell kaeya while venti sends him a thumbs up in agreement.
"alright then hopeless romantics i'll see you then." kaeya bid the two of you farewell.
"let's finish the rest of the stuff we have to do quickly so we can see what's up." you turned to venti.
venti nodded and linked your arms together to lead you to your next destination.

a/n: i literally wrote this chapter over the course of a whole week. i'm so sorry for not being able to update more consistently school has been kicking my butt. i'm pretty excited for this liyue arc i hope you guys are looking forward to it too! anyways i hope you guys enjoyed this chapter i love you guys so so much stay healthy and stay safe!
