─"OMG THERE ARE SO MANY PEOPLE!" you cheered in excitement.
liyue was truly one of the busiest cities in teyvat.
there were people rushing past you going about your days without even paying you a moment of attention. everyone seemed to be so absorbed in their own lives, it was fascinating.
people were buying, selling. bargaining, and socializing. not one person was doing the exact same thing.
everyone had a slight accent with promoted you to listen in to every single conversation you passed by. you would have killed to just wander around and hear every single one of the individual discussions in detail.
the experience was so fresh and new you held onto venti and hugged and kissed him continuously for taking you to what felt like a completely new world.
mondstadt is a wonderful place it truly is.
but the foreignness of liyue completely drew you in.
monstadt was fun and carefree everyone knew each other well. you grew up and got to know basically everybody at a very young age.
after walking around you started to observe the beautiful architecture or liyu.
it felt like nothing looked the same and every building in liyue was spectacularly diverse.
the thought of learning everyone's names and stories continued to stay on your mind.
"venti venti omg look look!" you tugged on the sleeve of your lover to point at the port area.
there was a large ship entering the port with huge black sails sailing through the wind majestically.
"ship." your jaw dropped in awe.
vent smiled fondly at your childlike wonder and patiently waited for you to watch the ship pull into the docks.
"we should go on a boat ride venti." you smiled as you grabbed onto venti's arm affectionately.
"i could take you on that exact boat if you really wanted me to." venti said slyly.
"W-WHAT OMG VENT BABY YOU'RE THE BEST!" you smothered venti with loving kisses.
"how would you get me on the boat omg do you know someone on the boat would i get seasick how fast can a boat go do you think they would let me into the crows nest i've always wanted to go in the crows nest of a pirate ship omg are there like real real pirates that search for pirates booty and like treasure and fight the kraken and stuff omg pirate attire do you think they's give me an eye patch venti let's just run away and be pirates!" you exclaim out in one breath.
venti softly chuckles and pats your back gently to calm you down a little bit.
"whatever you want darling let's just take out little vacation in liyue one day at a time." he sent you a charming smile.
"ok fine." you sighed.
"but speaking of connections when are you going to introduce me to the person we traveled all the way here for?" you ask venti curiously.
venti didn't respond for a second and looked at the sky, which was slowly turning into a burnt orange.
"i actually think it's about time for our little meeting." venti sighed softly.
