─"CONGRATULATIONS!" you and venti slightly jumped when you opened the door to jean's office.
"why are we being congratulated on leaving the city." you sweatdropped.
venti simply shrugged and sent you a confused smile.
"thank you guys for the sweet gesture!" you thanked your close friends.
"it was no problem (y/n) it was all jean's idea." lisa nudged jean playfully.
"we really appreciate you guys!" venti exclaimed, grabbing your hand and throwing your arms into the air.
"NOW IT'S TIME TO PARTY!" you both yelled, making everyone cheer.
you and venti quickly let go of each other and went off to do your own thing.
as expected, venti went off to find the nearest drink somehow annoying diluc on the way.
while you went off to eat all the food and mingle with as many people as possible.
it was actually pretty rare to see the both of you in one place at parties. which was kind of ironic since outside of parties you two were joined at the hip.
although there was one specific circumstance that would bring you and venti together during a party.
"WE THANK YOU ALL- HIC-FOR COMING TO OUR PARTY WE LOVE YOU GUYS UHHH LOTS EHEHE!" venti leaned his head on your shoulder clumsily.
"YEAH LIKE VENTI SAID WE LOVE YOU LOTS SO WE'RE GOING TO OFFICIALLY THANK YOU BY DOING WHAT WE DO BEST WHICH IS BEING HE BEST DUO OF BARDS IN MONDSTADT!" you tried to hype up the crowd.
everyone cheered feeling you and venti with adrenaline.
venti poofed his famous harp and your signature microphone out of nowhere and handed your microphone to you carefully.
"WITHOUT FURTHER ADO US!" you both introduced yourselves.

venti woke up before you after everyone had passed out during the party.
he gradually stretched out his sore body from lying down uncomfortably on jean's desk all night and hopped up and went to go look for his lover.
he didn't have to look very hard and quickly found you right behind the desk he had been sleeping on.
the bard softly smiled when he saw how peacefully you were curled up sleeping and sighed quietly once he realized he would have to disrupt your rest.
"c'mon darling it's time to get up to head to liyue." venti gently shook you while trying to wake you up.
you didn't respond at first which resulted in venti shaking you a little bit harder.
"c'mon sweetheart you have to get up now." venti used a little bit more urgency in his voice.
you rolled over and gently pushed his hand away.
"ten more minutes venti the crowd wants an encore." you yawned before heading back to sleep.
venti facepalmed and let out a long sigh.
"ok ok don't worry i got you, sweetie go ahead and finish your concert." venti went over to you and gently placed you on his back.
he looked around the room to see all of his sleeping friends and smiled before leaving a short note letting them know that they had gone off on their adventure.
"to liyue!" venti mumbled to himself before summoning the wind currents and starting the couple's long journey to liyue.
