y/n bit back a cry, hands scrolling through the timeline, just to see beomgyu freely post his photo with hana without caring whatever everyone said.

being the legal heirs of the richest company in South Korea, everyone knows him since he's quite famous here. Meaning, everyone already know about beomgyu's status, which is a married man.

but with him posting bunches of photos with his girlfriend, that surely left everyone with multiple questions. Even y/n has lots of questions, but she can't find herself asking beomgyu because she dont want to make thing much more worse.

y/n inhaled a deep breath, opening the car's door before she get out from the car. Beomgyu's parents invited both beomgyu and y/n to a family dinner tonight yet, beomgyu cancelled it last minute by using urgent works as excuses.

Which was a big lie because just 5 minutes ago, beomgyu posted some pictures with Hana remember?

Left with no choices, y/n had to come alone since beomgyu refused to go with her and choose to spend time with hana instead. It wasn't something new by the way. Things like this always happened.

Beomgyu would always cancel last minute event just to see Hana and y/n wasn't suprise anymore at this point. Maybe more to dissapointment.

y/n dont know why she's nervous but as soon as the guard sees her, they immediately let her enter then mansion without any hesitation. The girl only flashed them a small thankful smile.

" oh god, my y/n is here!" mrs choi happily squealed, instantly pulls the girl into a warm hugs.

fit of laughters left y/n's mouth as she happily hugs the lady back.
" long time no see, mom. i miss you" she lovingly smiled.

" i miss my daughter more."

" oh by the way i'm sorry that beomgyu couldn't make it thats why i came alone. He's probably busy with...works." she tells the last part hesitantly, somehow feels bad for lying.

" ah that boy always busy." mrs choi lets out a small groaned and y/n can only awkwardly laughs at that because one thing for sure, she felt guilty for lying.

" i'm really sorry for that mom but at least i'm here!" y/n eagerly said, putting up a wide smile across her face so that she can wash away the lady's worries.

" i know my daughter is the best! come in, soobin and dad are waiting at dining room already." mrs choi said before leading them both towards the dining room.

the dinner that night was full of chatters and laughters to the point that y/n forgot for a moment that her husband isn't here. They talked and catched up a lot of things since they weren't able to before.

y/n just wish that one day beomgyu can join too so that it will be complete.

" how's beomgyu treating you, y/n? i hope you both are doing fine" mr choi questioned and y/n can only gulped upon hearing that.

" its fine, dad. we're very happy and dont worry he's treating me really well too." she smiled, trying her best to hide the sadness.

Although, soobin already noticed how her nervous she looks when mr choi asked that.

" ah, we are worrying for nothing then" mrs choi laughs, continue eating her food.

" make sure to tell us if beomgyu's not treating you well, okay?" mr choi adds and y/n can only muster a nod.

she lets out a sigh of relief, glad that they decided to drop out the topic and not bringing up any further.

" are you fucking serious right now? he literally freely post all the photos with that hana girl and you decided to do nothing?" yeonjun slightly raised his voice, eyes open wide in disbelief.

" what can i do, yeonjun? tell him to not post it anymore? he won't listen, you know it." she hissed.

yeonjun let out an annoyed sigh, feeling the sudden rage out of nowhere. " then, does mr and mrs choi dont know about that hana girl?"

" i'm pretty sure they dont. But, i think soobin knows about it. yesterday, during our family dinner, he keeps looking at me as if  he wants to say something."

" soobin? choi soobin as in that brat's older brother?" yeonjun questioned, raising an eyebrow as he takes a sip from his drink.

" he has a name, yeonjun."

" okay so choi soobin as in that brat that has a name's older brother?"

y/n laughs, shaking her head at that. she understans how much her best friend, yeonjun, hates his husband. " yeah, his brother choi soobin."

" ah so, he knew about hana? Interesting. Do you think he'll tell mr and mrs choi about this?"

" no i dont think so. It really wasn't a good idea to get mr choi involve i swear to god. He's scary as fuck."

yeonjun was quick to agree, already imagining what will happen if mr choi included. Beside, that old man has a really hot temper. " right, the moment mr choi get involved, everyone's dead meat i swear shit sherlock."

y/n giggles at that, although her heart is still kind of heavy becayse she has too much worries.
" what should i do yeonjun.."

yeonjun puts a hand of top of her shoulder before flashing her an assuring smile.

" do what your heart says. do what you want. do what makes you happy. do what benefits you. its fine to be selfish for once."

" you..think so?"

" no, i know it."

" you deserve to be happy too, y/n. and whatever desicions you choose, please know that i'll never stop supporting you." he adds.

y/n almost teared up at that, she was quick to pull her best friend into a tight hug. " thank you, yeonjun. thank you a lot." she smiles.

" no problem. isn't thats what friends are for?"
