"Liwanag ka din?" Cie Cie asked.
"Casual fan lang, ikaw ba?" he returned the question.
"Certified Liwanag. Their songs helped me during..." she stopped talking. He knew she wanted to say something, but she's afraid to open up. Maybe he should take small steps, so that she'll feel more comfortable around him.
"So, you're a fan girl? For sure sila lang inaabangan mo pag Paskuhan."
"Oo fan girl , pero syempre sayang yung free food at fireworks."
"Sabagay. Nag e-exchange gift din kayo ng classmates mo?"
"Nyek, ano ka 1st year?"
"Ouch, grabe naman to. Season of giving kaya yun."
"May donation drive kami nun sa streetchildren, mas OK yun kesa regaluhan ng airpods mga classmates ko."
"Wow, nice naman pala. Sige sabihan mo ko if you'll have a donation drive so I can be of help."

It's getting dark, the lights around the campus started to turn on. He appreciate the beauty of the jets of water rising and the reflection it makes. The fountain now looks like an obje d' art.

"Oy wala naman akong sinabi."

"Na magaganda kayo...hahaha..."
"Feeling, hmp. If I know, lagi ka namang standing ovation pag recitation na."

"Grabe naman. Etong mukhang to, bully?"
"Oo!"
"Objection your honor, I'm innocent until proven guilty."

"Wow! San mo natutunan yan? Hulaan ko, sa Netflix noh?"

Tonz checked his watch, to be honest, he's enjoying his little banter with Cie Cie. He realize that she's more comfortable with joking around, instead of directly answering a question. It's feels like there are hundreds of walls standing between them. He just needs more patience if he wants to know her better.
"Kain tayo." he said.
"San naman?"
"Dapits or carpark?"
"Carpark na lang."
"Sige, pero libre mo..." then he stood up and burst out laughing at Cie Cie's irritated face.
