You woke up to a wet feeling on your face
"Y/nnnnnnnn wake upppppppp"
You opened your eyes to see a certain Growlithe slobbering all over your face
"EW GROWLITHE NO"
"Growl growl!" Barked growlithe.
"AHAHAHAHAHAHAH"
I would recognize that laugh anywhere
"Ash, its not funny!" You shouted
"Its pretty funny" he responded
"Whatever, why did you wake me up?" You asked as you stroked the growlithe that sat on your lap.
"Look out the window"
Growlithe hopped onto the floor as you struggled to get up and crawl over ash to see through the window, you and him along with his Pikachu and your Growlithe were headed for melemele island in Alola. You were currently on a plane (unfortunately flying economy) and it had been about the full nights trip to get to where you were.
As you gazed outside the window you saw the glittering blue of the ocean, reflecting the oranges and yellows from the rising sun. But then you saw small spots of green dot the ocean, tiny islands
"Are we close??!!" You questioned excitedly.
"Yeah, i asked the flight attendant and she said about another hour"
"An hour isnt close"
"Its closer than twelve hours"
"Whatever, im going back to sleep"
You mumbled as you layed back down where you were before, with your head on ashes lap and your feet sticking out into the isle.
Growlithe hopped onto you and curled up in the space between your legs and the chair.
"Youre so lazy" grumbled ash.
"Shhhhhh im asleep, i cant hear you" you whispered.
Ash mumbled something else as his pikachu started playing with your hair.

*BEEEEEEEEP*
We have now arrived at out destination, please remove your luggage and head towards the exit
"Jeez, do they have to make it so loud?" Groaned Ash as he shoved you off his lap.
"owwwww" you said as you slowly stood up.
You and ash grabbed your suitcases from the top storage space, picked up your tired pokemon and headed off the plane.
With sleeping Growlithe in one arm and your suitcases handle in the other, off you went with ash to the motel you were both scheduled to stay at.

Both you and ash crashed onto your beds at the motel, the motel wasn't exactly nice but it wasnt crappy either. It had sort of an old charm
