Author's POV

Fred woke up early and prepared his usual morning routine and got his coffee fix for him and Jackie. He went back to their room and he sees his wife and two children sleeping soundly-one on the bed, one on the crib. He smiled like he never did before.

He went out to the veranda to get some air and sipped that coffee while seeing the neighborhood for the last time. In his mind, he is going to miss this place. They formed their lives here already. He didn't want to leave but they must. Gusto niya ng bumukod dahil hindi sa kaya niya or sa nahihiya siya sa mga magulang ni Jackie or kelangan i prove niya kay Jackie. Those are not his reasons. Its quite very simple. Because they are in the right age and thinking to do so. A choice. To grow, individually and together, and to face life as adults.

He heard baby Sky cry and so he went back inside the room.

"Good morning baby! And good morning rin sa palangga ko!" He picked up baby Sky and kissed Jackie who is still half asleep. Jackie looked at Sunny and she is still sleeping.

"Ayan na coffee mo diyan palangga"

"Aawww thank you"

"Maligo ka na maya maya at magbihis na ah. Kelangan na nating umalis."

"Huh??"


"Basta"

"Ok"

She could not say anything else because pagod itong nag be breast feed kay Sky at nagpatulog buong gabi. She got her coffee and gave Fred a kiss.

"Aga nagising ng gwapong to ah. Bakit baby? Kasabwat ka ba sa pa andar ng daddy?" Jackie said and Fred gave a short laugh

Nagulat si Jackie pagkatapos niyang maligo at magbihis na naka empake na ang mga gamit nito. Pati ang mga damit ng mga bata.

"Huyyy ano to?"

"Baba ka na for breakfast palangga kelangan na nating umalis diba?"

"Asan si Sunny at Sky?"

"Nasa baba na kina mommy"

"Ba-bakit yung mga gami -"

"Ay nako tara na nga" hinila na ni Fred yung kamay niya kahit na takang taka na ito.

"Ay gising na siya" sabi ni mommy Jocy

Hinalikan naman siya sa ulo mg daddy Jo and Jamie greeted her a good morning. Takang taka pa rin ito.

"Ano bang nangyayari?"

Wala man lang pumapansin sa kanya. So she just ate her breakfast.

"Sa amin na sasakay si Sunny ah sa inyo na si Sky. Tsaka malapit na daw si Sheena at Kelly." Sabi ni mommy Jocy

"Nako pati yung dalawa kasabwat din ah"
