Déjà vu

The lives of the four friends were finally beginning to settle down. Aurelia's mother had stopped with her spontaneous appearances; August hadn't turned up at Rosknopp either, not since Aurelia had threatened him with the knife. Wilhelm was living between three houses - he had been crashing at Aurelia's to begin with, but now moved between her apartment, Evangeline's apartment and Simon's house.

But the familiar nagging feeling which never seemed to leave Aurelia alone for long had returned once more. It was a constant dull pain, like a never ending pit growing in her stomach. It affected her mind, made her mad.

Eventually, the pit got too big.

And once again, the girl was gone to the wind, disappeared without a sound.
