"Anneliese darling?" She heard her husband call out for her making her move through the house to get to his study.
"Yes, Charles?" She questioned from her spot in the doorway.
"We have an author coming later this evening. Will you make yourself presentable before he gets here." He told her while looking her up and down.
She rolled her eyes internally pulling her robe around her. She was in her nightwear and a silk robe. They were quite revealing but who cared it was her house. "Of course darling."
After she got dressed or made herself presentable as her husband put it. She ended up painting to keep her mind off things.
