The next couple days were hell for Aiko.
After that ''stunt'' she pulled in front of every single student, Panda brought her too her dorm and summoned their father immediately.
Usually Yaga wouldn't spare Aiko a second thought and tried to ignore her as much as possible but in this circumstance he had to step in.
Only because it could cause future inconveniences for the school.
He ordered her to stay in her dorm for a few days also ensuring that Shoko would do daily check ups on her welfare, not before he scolded her on her carelessness. Once again.
Megumi also visited her day after day, even though the auxiliary managers that were keeping watch to make sure Aiko didn't make a run for it, tried to persuade him not to visit until she had time to rest her mind and "reflect on her actions."
She thought this was all pathetic and absurd. Aiko didn't even know where or what Gojo has been up to this past week, so he couldn't even compromise with her father to let her get at least some fresh air.
She was utterly embarrassed, the guilt that was eating away inside her from attacking Maki of all people was vile. Aiko desperately hoped that Maki would forgive her, she needed to apologise to her, grovel even. Her worst nightmare was for Maki or even her other friends despising her and throwing her aside because of something stupid she did once again.
Thinking back to that precise moment though, she was utterly confused as to why Maki's words struck a chord in her even if it was a joke, since her father would criticise her and call her weak constantly.
But coming from someone you trust deeply...that re-opened old wounds.
Those endearing amethyst eyes she used to love so much, eyes that used to gaze towards her with pure adoration.
That same gaze turned into one of utter disgust and loathing.
Some small part of her still missed that charming smile and electric voice, but she knew that it was all just a bittersweet memory. Except the malicious ghost of the person they once were, that constantly haunted her nightmares ruthlessly.
Today was the end of Aiko's refinement. She was sprawled across the plush covers of her bed awaiting on Megumi to make his daily visit so she can finally start some training.
Or maybe she just wanted an excuse to spar with Toge again since he was fun to train with....
Twenty long minutes passed and Megumi still didn't show up. Aiko's mind went into overdrive thinking of all the countless possibilities on what could've delayed his visit. She tossed and turned upon the bed aimlessly until she finally decided to shuffle over towards the door and ask one of the auxiliary managers if they've seen Megumi today.
Aiko begrudgingly opened her door and instead of one of the usual sour faced auxiliary managers meaninglessly guarding her dorm, there stood a lean, blonde Adonis who had an irritated expression plastered upon his stony features.
"NA-NA-MINNN!" Aiko screeched, she instantly rushed out and clung onto him, squeezing the life out of his poor soul.
"Aiko nice..to see...you too" Nanami struggled out, whilst prying himself from the teens surprisingly strong grip.
Nanami entered Aiko's dorm room and placed himself upon the leather desk chair. He was clad in a clean cut, smart navy blue pin striped suit that he would consistently wear to his salary-man job.
Since he heard from Gojo over the phone about Aiko's outburst he thought it would be about time he payed her a visit.
