A Heavy tension filled the now silent common room.

Aiko internally scolded herself whilst she cleaned up the mess that was scattered across the floor. A disheartened look flitted across her face from the thought of upsetting another one of her close friends, once again.

Cringing from the dampened cloth sticking to her thighs, she stood and placed all the rubbish and cutlery back onto the table before sneaking a glance towards the brooding sorcerer opposite her.

Aiko couldn't understand why Yuuta would decide to just spontaneously up and leave Africa and come back to Jujutsu tech. It just didn't make sense. Now on top of all her other issues, she's going to have to deal with his insufferable presence for god knows how long.

"If you keep staring at me like that, I'll start to think you might actually secretly like me Dojima."

Aiko calmly strode over towards the kitchen and grabbed one of the empty trash bags blatantly ignoring Yuuta's comment. She knew he just wanted another reaction from her again, and Aiko was not giving him the satisfaction of seeing her get into more trouble than she already was with her sensei.

Yuuta raised his eyebrows in surprise, he thought Aiko would at least have one snarky comment up her sleeve to shoot back towards him.

He watched Aiko whilst she threw all the uneaten food inside the trash bag, seeing her now disheveled state, a twinge of guilt appeared but he instantly brushed it away when he recalled that she was the one who started this whole mess in the first place.

Watching the teen opposite him struggle with tying the bulging trash filled bag, Yuuta let out an irritated huff, he quickly walked over to Aiko and took the plastic bag from her delicate hands and tied it skilfully, to his surprise she accepted his help without any complaints or hostility which was usually out of character for her. He guessed she was either tired or Gojo yelling at her put her in a downtrodden mood.

Anyhow to him, as long as she doesn't ruin his mood further then she can sulk all she wants.

Trash bag clutched in hand he started towards the door, that was until a single hand grabbed onto his wrist forcefully stopping him in his tracks. Yuuta snapped his head round to meet Aiko's burning gaze, he narrowed his eyes awaiting on her next move.

"Why have you come back Okkotsu" Aiko spat out, her grip tightened around his wrist with each word spoken.

The corners of Yuutas lips turned up, his eyes pierced into her own before deciding to taunt her a little more, "Aw have you missed me?, I'm flattered truly."

"In your dreams, now answer the question."

"Well....Miguel thought I should take a little vacation for a while, that's it." Yuuta shrugged, he tore his wrist from Aiko's grip harshly.

At this Aiko rolled her eyes, she wanted to add more fuel onto the fire and press even further but instead she decided against it.

Taking one last look across the now clean common room, she smoothed down her clothes and followed after Yuuta with a lingering sense of uneasiness in her stomach from the thought of having to face a disappointed Toge in the morning.

The awkward sound of two pairs of footsteps echoed through the moonlit hallway. Aiko's gaze hatefully burned into the back of Yuuta's head whilst he strode ahead with the trash bag in hand. She acknowledged the fact he had grown significantly taller over the past year, and that his whole demeanour and attitude radiated confidence, she figured it was Miguel's doing.
