EPISODE 18: BYE FOR NOW LUCIFER

Sorry this this another filler episode because I am almost done with the first season of the Originals and the birth of Hope. Lucifer is about to leave New Orleans with his daughter and return to LA.

Melody Chris and Lucifer are talking in the living room about whether Lucifer should take Davina back to LA where she will be safe away from the witches.

Lucifer: Sister I am really not sure about this?

Melody: Brother listen to me; you came with me to help me find my daughters and my husband and I have done that and now it is time for you to take Davina and head back to LA where she will be safe

Lucifer: Well, my place is not really suitable for a young girl

Melody: That is why I called Chloe last night and told her we are old friends and you were helping me with a family situation and that you would be bringing my Niece back to LA for me while I finish dealing with everything and she I going to set a room for her so Davina will be living with me Chloe and Trixie that is if it is okay with you brother, I mean we could tell that she is your daughter but Chloe does not know that we are related yet so why would your daughter be living with us and not you so until we believe that Chloe can handle the truth about who and what we are it might be the best for now

Lucifer: I agree with you Sister, she does need someone other her aunt to look up to and I believe that the detective could be that person

Melody: Believe me brother she is, and I am sure Trixie and Chloe will love Davina

Lucifer: Well, I believe that we talk to Davina about this

Chris: I will go and get her

Melody: Thank you honey

Chris leaves the room and heads to Davina's bedroom where he knocks the door and from inside, he hears come in, he opens the door to reveal Davina stood at her easel painting a picture

Davina: Hey Uncle Chris

Chris: Hey Honey can you come downstairs please there is something we want to talk to you about?

Davina: Sure (she puts down her paintbrush and follows Chris out of the room and down the stairs and into the living room)

Lucifer: Davina there is something we want to talk to you about?

Davina: Okay

Melody: How would you like to leave New Orleans?

Davina: Really?

Lucifer: Yes, if you want to, I can take you back to LA with me and your Aunt Melody has arranged for you to live in her house with her best friend and her daughter

Davina: Would I be able to go back to school?

Melody: If you want, I can arrange that for you, and we can even place you in some art classes

Davina: really?

Lucifer: I can even help you get a little job if you would like to

Davina: Yes, I would love that so yes, I would like to leave New Orleans and go to live in LA

Lucifer: Very well go to your room and pack anything and everything that you need, and we will leave as soon as we are both ready

Melody: You will find suitcases in the hall closet and there is even a bag in their for your art supplies

Davina: Thanks Auntie Mel

Melody: You are welcome sweetie

Davina leaves the room and heads back to her room

Lucifer: I had better go and pack my things as well

Lucifer leaves the room too

Chris: Are you sure about this honey I mean Lucifer and Davina leaving?

Melody: Yes, it is time and think about it this way we get the house to ourselves when the girls aren't here

Chris: Well, I have to admit that does sound nice some alone time together

Melody: I know right but we do have to talk about what we are going to do?

Chris: What do you mean?

Melody: I mean are we going to stay here or go back or go to LA I mean I know that the girls are here, but I have other commitments in LA too and now with Davina going there

Chris: Well, I was thinking about that I think I would like to go back to LA with you when the time comes, I can arrange someone to be a stand in Alpha maybe Hayley or Grace even, but I think that it is time for me to live my life with my wife away from my duties as Alpha

Melody: Maybe we can talk more about us having more children?

Chris: I love that idea; how many more are you thinking about?

Melody: I am thinking maybe 4 or 5 more

Chris: Sounds good to me

Chris kisses his wife just as Lucifer and Davina come back each carrying a bag and or a suitcase

Lucifer: Okay I believe we are ready to get going we do have a rather long journey we do have to drive I don't think that Davina has a passport

Melody: You can take my car brother I do have another car in my garage so you can take the one we drove down in

Chris walks over to Davina and takes her stuff from her

Chris: I will put your things in the car for you

Davina: Thank you Uncle Chris

Chris takes Davina's things and leaves the house

Melody: Okay my best friend Chloe knows that you are coming but she does not know that Lucifer in your father, she knows that you are my Niece, but she believes that Lucifer is an old family friend, and he has been helping with a family emergency, she does not known yet that Lucifer and I are related nor does she know about who and what we are, she is also unaware that of the world of the supernatural so I have a small house at the bottom of the garden that you can set up as an area for you to practice your magic okay and until me and Your Uncle Chris come home I want you to watch out for Chloe and Trixie for me okay?

Davina: Of course, Auntie Melody and thank you

Melody: You are my Niece it is my job to look out for you come here (she pulls Davina into a hug which soon ends) go on get in the car

Davina leaves the house leaving just Melody and Lucifer

Lucifer: Well Sister I am sure we will see each other very soon and until then I will watch out for not only my daughter but for the detective but her offspring until you return then we can watch over them together

Melody: Yes, we can, Chloe and Trixie are my family Lucifer and they have been for many years, and I am hoping they always will be. So, I am asking to please keep them safe and that does include Trixie's father Dan and I know that you can be annoying but once you get to know him, he is a very good man I promise you

Lucifer: Of course, sister

Melody smiles and she hugs her brother which soon ends

Melody: Come on I will walk to the car

Melody and Lucifer leave the house and head out to Melody's car where Davina is sat in the passenger seat waiting and she is talking to Chris. Lucifer puts his own bag into the car and then Lucifer climbs into the driver's seat

Melody: Call when you get there, please?

Lucifer: Of course

Lucifer starts the car and drives away as Chris and Melody wave them away and in the passenger side Davina smiles knowing that she finally has a change to be a semi normal teenager and the fact that she has people in her life that love her and will always protect her no matter what and that is something called Family.
