EPISODE FOURTEEN: GETTING TO KNOW YOU

This is just a filler chapter with Davina and Lucifer as they get to know each other as Father and Daughter, and they tell each other what they have been through

Melody's house in New Orleans

Lucifer has just returned from the Bayou and he walks into the living room to see his daughter Davina sketching in her drawing pad and she looks up when she hears someone come in

Lucifer: Hello Davina dear

Davina: Hi where is Aunt Mel?

Lucifer: She is in the Bayou with her husband, they will be here tomorrow

Davina: Okay

He walks over and sits next to her

Lucifer: So, I know that you like to draw and paint what else do you like to do?

Davina: Well I do like music; I love to write and takes photographs and I was study a few languages before I had to leave school?

Lucifer: Well like your Aunt has already said once we have dealt with everything here we can return to LA and then you can go back to school and maybe even University if that is what you want university and make something of your life

Davina: I hope so, what do you do in LA?

Lucifer: Well I own and run a nightclub called Lux and I help the LAPD as civilian consultant I work with a Detective named Chloe Decker, she is also your Aunt Melody's best friend and they live together along with the Defective's daughter her name is Trixie and I am sure they will both love you

Davina: I can't wait to meet them

Lucifer: So, what languages were you taking in school?

Davina: Latin, German, Spanish and Mandarin

Lucifer: Well I speak every language so I can teach you anyone that you want to know. Do you like to read?

Davina: Yes, I love to read

Lucifer: Well I have a rather large collection of books some by some of the greatest writers in history

Davina: Really?

Lucifer: yes I can help you start your own collection and I am sure that your Aunt Melody also has a large selection of her own and once we go back to LA I am sure that your Aunt can arrange things for you to go back to school and any other after school clubs you want to join

Davina: That sounds really great, so do you want to see my sketch?

Lucifer: of course

She shows Lucifer her sketch that she was working on and it's a picture of a wolf

Lucifer: Wow this is very good I think that we should put you in an Art class when we get back to LA, would you like that

Davina: Yes

Lucifer: So how about I make something to eat and we can keep talking?

Davina: Sounds good. Can I help you cook?

Lucifer: Sure, let's go get to cooking

Davina: What are we going to make?

Lucifer: How about waffles or pancakes?

Davina: Can they be chocolate chip pancakes?

Lucifer: Yes, they can be

Davina smiles and puts her sketch book and grabs Lucifer's hand and drags him into the kitchen
