Arabella looked left and right, cautious of any teacher or prefect patrolling the halls.

Remus halted his tracks, along with a quick shush to his friends once he heard light footsteps pass by.

Once Arabella reached outside the doors of the castle, she bolted. The taste of freedom on the tip of her tongue as she carelessly runs into the Forrest.

Once the coast was clear, the five boys made their way out of the castle after a few minutes of waiting.

"Okay, we don't have fire whiskey and yes I know you don't really like it Moony so I brought butterbeer!"
Exclaimed Sirius. Remus' curiosiy towards the loud backpack Sirius brought along was answered when he opened the bag and saw at least 10 bottles of butterbeer.

"Cheers"
Cheered James as he raised his bottle before taking a sip, to be followed by the three.

The sounds of scissors snipping on stems brought Arabella happiness, another new flower to learn and add to her collection. She's collected six kinds, only one being a new one.

She used to feel bad when taking flowers but her father explained to her "As long as we leave some of its kind behind, more will grow to take its place."

Arabella was always in a happy mood when she collects flowers, so happy she couldn't help but hum a song she forgot the name of as she went on to search for one more flower.

"Do you hear that?"
Remus asked when his ears picked up the distant sound of humming.

"I don't hear anything."
Commented Peter, a frightened expression on his face when the thought of the paranormal crossed his mind, considering his past with the aggressive ghost in their basement.

"Maybe it's the sirens. Now, I wish to share something I found in a book."
James started before taking out a note from his pocket,

"You read a book?"
Asked Remus teasingly before raising the bottle to his lips for a sip.

"Yes I do, and I find loads of wise stuff."
Grumbled James while he unfolded the piece of paper before clearing his throat.

"Carpe diem."

Remus couldn't help but choke on his butterbeer out of laughter, expecting to hear an inspirational quote or maybe advice from a self-help book, what he did not expect though was a well-known muggle phrase like carpe diem. And it seemed Sirius and Peter found it hilarious too cause they started laughing with Remus.

"Let me finish! Merlin help me."
Mumbled James in annoyance as he watched his best friends laugh away.

"Okay okay, continue on."
Sirius said after clearing his throat, meaning to look serious for whatever speech James is going to do.

"Carpe diem. Seize the day. So I say, let's do shit without caring whether we'll regret it or not! Like that big prank on Dumbledore! Or confessing our undying loves! And maybe even turning into animagi!"
James exclaimed, though none of them expected this speech from James, Sirius and Peter cheered, perfectly agreeing with his idea.

Meanwhile, Remus was terrified.

"No, it's too risky for you all. The process of turning into one and the aftermaths of it as well."
Remus countered firmly, no joke in his tone as his expression remained strict.

"Oh come on Moony, we're not dumb. We could do it perfectly!"
Sirius defended.

"Yeah, but accompanying me is also dangerous. I'm not letting you all risk your lives for me so no, end of conversation."

Arabella had a whole bouquet of flowers in her arms, she wanted to get more but she suddenly heard noises from the distance. She didn't know where it came from or what it came from but she won't take a risk to find out.
