It must be you who decides how their words will affect you

So, either YOU, let it break you or guide you to being the best version of yourself

Let it guide you to be the person that you're destined to be

Let it show you that you are your ancestors' wildest dream

It must start with authenticity

It starts with knowing

Knowing that you have the power to co-create your life

To know is to be

A person's entire trajectory in life can switch in the blink of an eye

Shine new rays of light on parts that were tucked away subconsciously

Who are you beyond the perceptions of those around you?

What does it mean to be yourself without trying to please the world around you?

Where would you go for inspiration and motivation if every other weapon formed against you prospered?

How much longer will you allow other people to decide your worth?

When will you decide to stop allowing pain or outside factors to choose how your story will go?

Our primary focus should be ourselves to build each other up so that we can all be uniquely great.

Instead, you get the opinionated folk and their unrated jokes

Wanted to catch an attitude when they don't leave us stoked

Of course, their words will pass through your mind over a million times

If you think about it, all you can do is empathize

Do not invalidate your feelings to validate their actions. No, empathize

Empathize because everyone must choose to heal and find their way.

Just because it affects me in a way that you think it shouldn't doesn't give you the right to invalidate my feelings

Life be lifing but your next steps and where you go from here will always depend on you
