Here I am feeling very very very annoyed. The hair stylist was styling my hair while my maids helped me put on my gown.

This was very weird. My grandfather had organized a ball and would announce our engagement to that very same ball

Ughhh!!!

Maraming tao ang dadalo sa ball na iyon. Kasama na ang mga friends ko at ang iba pang socialites na kakilala nila.

“Ghurlll!!!” The door swung open and in came Dzai and the others.

I must admit that Dzai looks very beautiful in her red mermaid style gown.

“Mia, we caught wind of the events. You're really going to get engaged?” Tanong sa akin ni Jia.

“Yeah I am”

“Ayan na nga ba yan eh! Parang sa binabasa ko yan na ‘The Journey to You’ it's the typical fixed marriage where they were married and then fell in love and in the end sila yung end game” share naman ni Dzai which made the situation worse.

“Just who exactly are you going to be engaged with?” Tanong naman ni Tanz which knocked a question on their heads.

“Oo nga no?”

“Oh right”

Magtatanong na sana sila when Lara came in and informed us that the ball is going to start.

My heart is pounding very fast. And I can't help myself but feel very nervous.

This is it.

This is the day.

The day I'm going to get engaged.

“He's going to be a man” Harry said while wiping his nonexistent tears.

Their words just fueled my anger.

“Oh I see Miana” bigla bigla nalang sabi ni Ji Hyeon which made us all turn towards the stairs.

There she stood, Miana White.

She descended the stairs gracefully. Her off shoulder silver gown swaying with every move she makes. Her cheeks has that rosy color. Her brown eyes shining like diamonds.

And for a minute I forgot that this woman was my arch nemesis.

“God, who is that beautiful maiden I see” Biglang sabi ni Santi. I almost forgot he was here.

“Which maiden?” Tanong naming lahat.

“The one wearing the lavender dress” he softly muttered which made me sigh.

He's going to be a lovestruck fool.

The ball started and everybody started dancing. I just sat in my seat watching my bros dancing with some random socialite.

Suddenly my mother walked towards me.

“I would love it if my son would dance with me” Sabi nya which made me shiver. May ngiting nakalagay sa kanyang labi pero yung pagkakasabi nya ng mga salitang iyon ay nakakakilabot.

She's scheming something.

So I took her to the center of the ballroom and began swaying her.

When the tune almost ended she said something to me that made me regret why I danced with her.
