"Cheers!!"

Everyone raised their glasses in celebration. They just won another case. Jhoana and her team have been excellently winning cases in corporate accounts. Big fat paychecks and resounding success for the law firm.

"Thank you Boss J, ang saya dito, unlimited drinks, unlimited chicks!" 

 Mika shouted, obviously a little tipsy already.

Jhoana smiled back, she knows her team deserved this celebration after ruthless hours of working overtime for their latest cases. Masaya sya na halos lahat naman ay masaya at nag enjoy. 

Nakita nya sa dance floor si Ella, isa sa mga lawyers nya na may kasayaw na isang lalaki. Napangiti nalang sya. Ang iba naman ay may kanya kanyang partner din na dala.Her team is composed of Ella, Mika, Celine and Jema, who are all busy. She loves all of them and they are all trusted friends even outside work. 

She glanced at her phone and started scrolling messages. Mostly are congratulatory messages, some are texts from suitors na hindi nya na matandaan kung sino at san nya nkilala. She automatically deletes and blocks them to avoid further drama. They'll get over it, she snorted. 

The night is young, she thought to herself.

Jhoana's law firm has been truly a success.

Few years after her graduation, her dad encouraged her to put up her own law firm. Her family has been very supportive of her kaya naman nilakasan nya ang loob nya para lumaban sa mga naglalakihang firms sa palibot nila.

She hired the best lawyers in her batch. Jema, Celine, and Mika. While her ate Ella, transferred to her firm after learning she had put up her own. They also hired other associates but they remained to be the core team.

Countless days of hard work and sacrifices, and here she is now, one of the most outstanding lawyers in and out of the country.

Jhoana Louisse is a beast. Inside the court she is unbeatable, sya yung tipong paiiyakin ka nalang kapag mahina kang abogado.

"Hi beautiful, enjoying the night so far?" bati ng isang magandang babae na lumapit kay Jhoana sa counter ng bar.

"Yes, indeed, but you know, I'm always down for more action-packed nights,"  Jhoana replied in a flirty way. Maganda ang babae, naka sleeveless ito at naka short ng maiksi na tinernuhan ng white sneakers. 

Hmm, pwede na.

Sa buhay pag-ibig isa syang mailap na tigre. Maraming nagkakandarapa saknya, pero mahirap syang mahuli. In fact, she never had any serious relationship. 

She's a player. A very dangerous player. Marami ng umiyak, umasa at nabigo, pero pasensya na sila, hindi nya kayang magpakulong sa relasyon.

We can warm each other's bed until dawn, but before the sun comes up, we're back to being strangers. - motto ni Jhoana.

After a few drinks ay nagsasalo na sa isang mapusok na halikan ang dalawa. Unti unti namang hinila si Jhoana papunta sa parking lotng kanyang flavor of the night. Pumasok sila sa kotse at agad na hinubaran ni Jhoana ang babae, hinalikan nya ito ng mapusok habang nilalamas ng dalawang dibdib nito.

 Mainit na halik din ang ganti ng babae sakanya at di nag tagal ay nahubaran nadin nito si Jhoana at tuluyan na nilang pinaligaya ang isat isa.

After mahigit 40 minutes ay bumalik na si Jhoana sa kanyang team. Nakangisi ng maluwag si Jema, habang papalapit sya. Hindi naman bago sakanila ang mga ganitong kalokohan ng boss nila. 

"Iba ka talaga Boss J." saad ni Jema sabay kindat sakanya. "What can I do, the girl has needs and I could also use a stress release," Jhoana answered with a wink.

"Btw, bat di ka naghhanap jan, you need a wingman? I can be your wingman, maenjoy mo man lang yung gabi." Jhoana told Jema, noticing that the latter is not roaming around the pool of warm bodies.

"It's ok Jho, I'm not really into any action tonight. I just wanna enjoy watching you guys dominating the competition here. HAHAHAH" Jhoana nodded in agreement. 

Jema or any of her attorneys calling her Jho, means that they have shifted to "friends mode". which is more than ok for Jhoana, but knowing how much of a hunter Jema is, she realized something.

"OMG! You and that singkit associate is getting serious!!!" Jhoana almost shouted. Jema turned red as if she got caught in a crime. What??! No! We've gone to a couple of dates but nothing more serious." Jema snorted.

Well, it's ok Jem, you know it's ok right? Don't be like me. Give yourself a chance in love." Jhoana said in a serious tone to which Jema just agreed on. 

"You deserve a serious love too Jho. Don't be afraid to fall in love again. Dadating din yung taong magpaparamdam sayo na masarap ang mahalin at magmahal." Jema just winked at Jhoana.

Jhoana was once again lost in her thoughts. 

Matututo pa nga ba akong magmahal ulit?
