Chapter 31

Amy's POV

We all decide to look for a village so that we can buy food. But me and the other girls mostly wanted to buy clothes.

'We can pick out bridesmaids dresses!' Molly squeals.
'Slow down. we haven't even picked a date' Alesa says.
'But we are invited...right?' Molly asks. 'Of course'

We all squeal. 'I'm just gonna let my inner fangirl out' Kellie says.
'Please don't' Roisin groans.

'I can't see any villages nearby' Adam says after we walk a few more miles.
'Lets just head back.'

'There's a village if you keep going left' a voice startles me.
I turn around to see a girl, she's holding a bow.

'Oh really? Well thanks' Adam says.
'I'm Perniya by the way' she smiles.
'So you're good with a bow?' Mitch steps forward.
'I guess you could say that'
'Let's see' Mitch says.

Perniya looks around and spots a pig a few miles away.
She aims her bow and fires.

I faintly see the pig fall to the ground.
'Nice shot' Mitch congratulates her.
'What'd you say you help us with something?'

'What would that 'something' be?' she asks him.
'We need fighters' Adam says. 'to defeat the squids'

She bursts out laughing. 'Squids? that's it?'
'They're a lot more powerful than you think' I tell her.

'Look. Why don't you come back to our place? we can talk more about it' Adam says.

She hesitates.

'Alright' she says after a while.
'Great. Lets go' Adam says.

'Can't even go shopping now' I hear Kellie say.'That means I can't make Jason wear suits' she pouts.
'Thank god' he says.
'I know you love it'

'Now we can't get bridesmaids dresses' Molly says.
'Again... slow down' Alesa laughs.

Ryan's POV

'So these squids have captured you guys?' Perniya asks.
'And almost killed us' Kellie says.

'We know it sounds unbelievable but we really need all the help we can get' Adam says.

'Alright.' she says 'you need my help? I'll help you'
'Thank you' Adam says.

'While we're on the topic of fighting' Mitch begins 'I think we should have training sessions'

'That's a really good idea actually' roisin says.

'When do we start?' Kellie asks.
'Eager. we'll start in the morning' he says.

'How early?' jerome asks.
'Pretty early' Mitch replies.

Jerome and Roisin groan.

'Lets get something to eat then get some rest' Adam says.
'You guys go ahead' I say. 'I'm pretty tired'

'You guys coming up?' I ask.
They nod.

'Night everyone' I say.

Me and the other guys walk upstairs.

'Okay' I whisper. 'We gotta be quiet'
I open up one of the windows.
Josh climbs down and the others follow.

We all walk towards the ocean.
'I don't think this is a good idea' josh says nervously.
'They trusted us. brought us into their home' he says.

'So what?'
'We can't betray them' he says.
'Since when did you care about them?' I snap.

'I-I don't its just....' he stutters.
'It's just what?'
'I can't do this anymore' he says.

'Fine then,don't' I say. 'go back to them. but if you say ANYTHING about what we're doing I swear...'

'I won't!' he says.
'Get out of here' I spit.

He turns around and starts to run back towards the city.

'Anyone else wanna go back?' I ask.
They all shake their heads.

'Good. now we just wait for the squids....'

Mitch's POV

'Do we have to wake up early?' Molly groans.She buries her face in a pillow.

'Yes. We have to wake up early' I say.
'Pleeeeeeeeease?' she begs me.
'Nope. We're waking up early' I laugh.
'You're mean'
'I know'

'Just go to sleep so you won't be tired' I tell her.
She sighs 'fine'

I close my eyes. 'psst. Mitch'
'What?'

'Hakuna matata. what a wonderful phrase' she starts to sing.

'Please stop'
'It means no worries, for the rest of your days...'
'Molly. I'm trying to sleep' I say.

'Fiiiiine. party pooper' she says.

I try to fall asleep again.

'Let it goooo! let it goooo'
'Molly!'

She falls silent.
I once again try to fall asleep.

'I'm a Barbie girl. in a Barbie world...'

I guess I won't be sleeping tonight then.

Jason's POV

'I'm a Barbie girl. in a Barbie world....' I hear Molly singing.

'The wind is howling like the swirling storm inside....' kellie starts singing.

'Don't let them in' Molly sings.
'Don't let them see' kellie sings the next line.

I hear someone knocking on the wall.
'SHUTUP!' Roisin shouts.

Kellie falls silent then starts giggling.

'Someone's grumpy' she says.

'MOLLY!' She calls.
'YEAH?'
'SKYPANNALOX IS BAE!'

I hear Molly freaking out over whatever kellie just said.
'AND MERPANOME?' Molly calls.
'YEAH'

'IM GONNA KILL YOU BOTH!' Roisin screams.

'WHO PISSED IN YOUR CORNFLAKES?' Molly calls.

I don't think any of us will be getting any sleep...
