Chapter 38

Kellies POV

'Where are you going?' Adam asks as I open the door.
'And why are you brining your sword?'

I hide the diamond sword behind my back. 'what do you mean?' I ask.
'You're going to follow precious and Kyle... weren't you?'

'No' I lie.
'Kellie...' he says.
'Okay fine. I was going to follow them but only because I'm worried for them' I admit.

'Why are you worried?'
'Kyle says they were going to go to some sort of mountain, I don't want it to be the same one as.... you know'

He nods 'yeah' he says quietly.
'So I can go?' I ask.
'Not alone' he says.

'Yeah, of course.' I say.
'I'm coming with you' he says.
'You are?'

He nods. 'wait here. I'm gonna go get a sword' he says.

'You CAN'T go!' Jason walks up to me.
'Can no-one in this house have a conversation without someone eavesdropping?' I sigh.

'Kellie, you're not going to that place' he says again.
'Yeah. I am'

'But what if something bad happens?'
"Jason, I'll be fine. besides, Adam's coming with me' I assure him.

He sighs. 'are you sure you'll be okay?' he asks.
'Positive'
'Okay. good luck' he hugs me.

Adam comes downstairs with a diamond sword.
'Ready?' he asks me.
'Yep'

We both walk towards the door.
We open it and walk outside
'Be safe!' Jason calls after us and Adam shuts the door.

'I can still see them in the distance' he says. 'c'mon'
I follow him as he walks to where precious and Kyle are heading.

'Kyle' precious groans 'why would you pick a mountain out of all places?'
'Don't be so lazy' he chuckles and she lightly punches his shoulder.

'Besides, it won't take that long to get to the top' he says.
'Doesn't this place look familiar though?' she asks him.
'A bit.... eh it doesn't matter' he shrugs.

God he's an idiot... he said that it wasn't the same place!

We follow them as they start to climb up the steep mountain.
Precious nearly slips but Kyle catches her just in time.
'If I had've known that we were doing this I wouldn't have worn heels' she laughs lightly.

We get closer and closer to the top until after a while we finally make it.
The two of them turn left and walk over to where Kyle had set up a small picnic.

'You stay here and watch them, I'll go see if anyone's over at the... bedrock cell.' I shudder as I say it.
'Okay, be careful. and hurry back' Adam says.

I nod and walk in the direction of the place I hoped I'd never see again.

I reach the cell and peek inside.
'No-one... thank god' I think out loud.

The noise of something moving makes me jump.
I draw my sword, ready to attack.
'Who's there?' I raise my sword.

'Wait!' a familiar voice yells. Someone comes out from behind a bush.
I ignore what they said and tackle them to the ground.

'Who are you and what do you want?'

Adam's POV

'She's been gone way too long' I think to myself.
I quietly walk in the direction of the place where I had done unforgivable things.... and yet they still forgave me.

I see kellie on top of someone but I can't see who it is.
'I-I can explain' the voice stutters.

That voice... where do I know it from?
