i know not many of you will bother reading this but i want to thank you for finishing tabt and caring enough to read my thoughts at the end of it. it has been one hell of a ride, especially this past month of double daily updates.
when i start writing this on wattpad on january 4th 2021, it was my goal to have it published by the end of september so i could enter it into the wattys both years it was eligible. i don't think lightning will strike twice but why shouldn't i go dancing in the rain?
whether you were here from the beginning or you're reading this ten years from now and somehow managed to get through the emails i decided to use as a framing device on a whim, the silly "translator's" notes i love to write, the persistent typos that remain even after forty rounds of edits, and the ads between each chapter i want to say: thank you
knowing that there are people out there who have spent time and energy reading my work and thinking about my characters... knowing that i have impacted people's lives... well at first it made me want to delete my entire account but now that it's gone to my head it's one of the best feelings in the world.
so when i say thank you, i really mean it. i read all the comments on my works. i see all of the votes. even if you're a silent reader, your presence is still felt.
and i want to thank you for that.
