Phoenix (Fred Weasley love story)

Chapter Seventy-Five: insanity

three months have passed and Phoenix has been chomping away in the basement, every night Fred would sneak downstairs with blankets and food for Phoenix when he knew the rest of the house was asleep. As she counted down the day more and more and felt her self slipping away but she didn't tell Fred that all she wanted to do was give herself to the dark lord because inside Phoenix was hurting, she was in pain from Voldemort trying to get into her head. As Phoenix sat in that basement bruised, burned, weak. Fred came down as the rest of the death eaters were in a meeting and some went out searching for Harry. Fred walked down and saw Phoenix laying in a corner shaking and whimpering softly

"Phe" Fred said softly, Phoenix moved her head slowly but didn't get up to see Fred, her body was weakening Voldemort was draining her energy so she didn't have to fight him.

"Love you should eat something I was able to nick some bread" Fred whispered softly Phoenix opened her eyes slowly and took a breath

"I'm—not—hungry" Phoenix said weakly Fred could hear the weakness in her voice he opened the cell door and hurried over and picked her up and cradled her forgetting that he was under cover

"Phoenix you have to eat your too weak" Fred said softly Phoenix opened her eyes and weakly smiled up at Fred, feeling happy he's holding her but feared he will get caught, Phoenix opened her eyes and smiled up at Fred weakly melting into his touch as her breathing began to slow dangerously low Fred began to panic hearing her gasping for air

"Phoenix? darling you need to stay with me please" Fred whispered softly as tears began to fall from his cheeks,

"Fr...Freddie he's to strong"Phoenix said faintly Fred gently placed Phoenix on the floor and opened a bottle of water and made her drink from it, then grabbed his wand as he remember a spell molly used to cast whenever him or his siblings we're sick and weak in bed he just prayed it worked, a couple of minutes passed and Phoenix woke up and sat up still looking pale she had a bit of strength in her.

"Here eat this they're coming" Fred said as he handed her a piece of bread as he heard the basment door open, Phoenix smiled as she watched Fred hurry out of the cell silently thanking him for giving her strength. Suddenly Voldemort,Bellatrix and Lucius all stood around the door watching as Phoenix had her back turned to the door scarfing down the bread. Voldemort glared and Fred watched from the shadows on what they we're planning on doing with her, he saw Voldemort taking out his wand as Bellatrix began to laugh and hop around the basement

"Imperio" Voldemort whispered so she couldn't her him but as green sparks came flying towards her a red force field appeared around her and the spell went flying back, Voldemort ducked and looked to Phoenix in shock

"H—How" Voldemort gasped Phoenix turned and saw the three standing there in shock but she had a smirk on her face, she herself made that force field thanks to her abilities.

"Again...try it again" Bellatrix encouraged

"I will now shut up" Voldemort seethed angrily as he raised his wand again and glared at Phoenix while her back was turned

"Imperio" Voldemort said another flash of green light shot out of the elder wand and hit Phoenix she screamed loud and Fred watched from a dark corner where he wouldn't be seen, his eyes widened and Bellatrix, Voldemort and Lucius all gasped as they saw Phoenix fall onto all fours and her body began to glow as fire waved through the cell. Voldemort and the other jumped off to the side so they didn't get hit but when they looked up they saw a fire bird rise from Phoenix and went flying towards Voldemort as fire shot through the ground. Phoenix's hair glowed and the firebird faded away. Phoenix looked down at her hands in shock.

"What the bloody hell" Voldemort said angrily Phoenix wiped her head and faced Voldemort and the others in fear as she saw black charcoal everywhere from what happened.
