Phoenix (Fred Weasley love story)

Chapter Seventy-Six: It will pass

February 19th,1998......

Since Phoenix found about having a bun in the oven she's been more on edge and scared each day she's been listening to the radio but she was glad to hear Lees and George's voice on Lee's new radio show called Potterwatch she really missed the two but Phoenix had a new thing to figure out. Phoenix walked downstairs and saw bill and molly sitting together and she sat down as bill gave her some tea

"How's Sirius?" Phoenix asked since she hasn't seen him in long time molly grabbed Phoenix's hand and smiled

"He's alright been growing grey hairs since you've been gone" molly said softly Phoenix chuckled softly and looked at molly

"He's okay.... I saw him at Malfoy manor" Phoenix said talking about Fred, molly began having tears in her eyes and hugged Phoenix tightly and she sobbed and bill showed a soft smile knowing Fred was okay

"He did say anything?" Molly asked Phoenix sighed remembering there time and she couldn't get the duel out of her head but she wasn't going to tell them Voldemort used him as a pawn.

"He's safe, Malfoy has been helping him this whole time and he wants you to know molly that he loves you guys so much" Phoenix said molly burst into tears again and bill sighed as he sat down

"That brother of mine as always been the brave one" bill said

"Thank you Phoenix" Bill said kindly Molly smiled before getting up and wondered into the living room Phoenix looked back at bill who smiled as she returned holding floo powder and gave it to Phoenix

"Go see George before you head to grimmauld and Phoenix lay low" molly smiled Phoenix hugged molly tightly and thanked her she ran over to the fireplace and grabbed some floo powder

"Weasley wizard wheezes" Phoenix said and slammed the floo powder down and disappeared from shell cottage. Phoenix appeared in front of the store. Phoenix smiled at the shop feeling like it's been ages since she saw it. George wanted to keep the store open during this horrible time to bring smiles on everyone's face and he was right kids poured out of the shop and more people popped in. Phoenix dusted herself off and headed inside, she smiled as she walked in and saw the shop hasn't changed more Diggory jane products on the shelfs, Fireworks going off every minute, rockets shooting left and right while people laugh and smile. Phoenix forgot what it was like to hear other people laugh it was like music to her ears. She walked upstairs and found George with a customer she smiled seeing her friend hasn't changed one bit and was still smiling. Phoenix cleared her throat as the customer walked away and George turned his head and gasped seeing Phoenix standing there smiling

"LEE SHES HOME!!!" George shouted excitedly and ran over to scoop Phoenix up and hug her tightly Lee came up and saw Phoenix being crushed by George

"Holy mother of Merlin!!!! PHOENIX!!!" Lee shouted as he ran over and hugged Phoenix tightly

"Can't—breath" Phoenix gasped George put her down as Lee let go and Phoenix hugged the two tightly

"I have so much to tell you guys" Phoenix said softly Lee and George smiled

"We do too, go on upstairs we close early today" George said Phoenix smiled before Lee was pulled away by a customer and George had to go downstairs to the cash register. Phoenix walked upstairs to the flat and saw how clean and tidy the flat was she smiled around forgetting how much she missed the place before wondering into Fred's old room, it was like it was never touched his bed was still made, his clothes were still in a pile in the corner and the room still smelt like gunpowder and cinnamon. Phoenix smiled as she glanced around the room she picked up one of Fred's old sweaters molly made him and hugged it wishing he came back with them Phoenix sighed and wrapped herself up in the sweater as she sat on the couch waiting for George and Lee to finish downstairs. A few hours passed and the two ran through the door and rushed into the living room and the two sat down on each side of Phoenix, George noticed that Phoenix had Fred's sweater and let out a sad sigh truth was George hasn't been doing great since Fred was gone each day George prayed Fred would come back to his twin and each night George would look into the mirror and crying not knowing if his best friend was alive and it really took a toll on him, without his twin George felt empty
