Chapter 27

Yumi: "All it says is, Bald and Scar."

Riyoko: "What does that mean?"

Akiri: "I think she's describing someone."

(Y/n): "Thats exactly what she's doing."

I reach into my bag and take out 4 ear pieces for all of us. I hand one to the three of them.

(Y/n): "These are communication links."

Yumi: "What for?"

(Y/n): "To find this guy. She said Bald with Scar. Earlier today I saw a man matching that exact description. We're gonna split up and if one of us finds him, we can contact the others."

We all go in separate ways. I go to the last spot I saw him and of coarse he wasn't there. Wishful thinking I guess. I continue searching for a while before Yumi got on the coms.

Yumi: "Sensei, can you hear me?"

(Y/n): "Loud and clear. Report."

Yumi: "I found him. He's at the station."

(Y/n): "Got it. Akiri, Riyoko, quickly make your way to the station."

Riyoko: "Im pretty far away, it might take me a few minutes."

Akiri: "Same here."

(Y/n): "Get there as fast as you can. Yumi we're on our way."

Yumi: "He's about to get on a train! I gotta distract him to buy you guys some time."

(Y/n): "No. Do not engage until we get there."
Yumi: "But he's gonna get away!"

(Y/n): "Thats an order."

Yumi: "Sorry Sensei, Yukimi might be in serious trouble. I cant let him just slip through our fingers."

I hear that she takes of her ear piece and shoves it in a pocket.

(Y/n): "Yumi! Damnit. We gotta pick up the pace you two. Get moving."

A/R: "Right!"

As Im rushing to the station I can hear that Yumi's com is still on. It sounded like she removed her headband from around her neck and hid it.

Yumi: "Excuse me sir."

Man: "Huh? What'd ya want?"

Yumi: "Sorry to bother you but I couldn't help but notice your cool scar! I hope you don't mind me asking but were you a war hero or somthin?"

Man: "Heh, all the ladies like the scar."

Akiri: "He does realize that she's 12 right?"

(Y/n): "Cut the chatter. You two getting close?"

Riyoko: "Almost there Sensei."

Yumi: "So, where did you get it?"

Man: "Thats a little personal, but I'd be happy to tell you if you come with me."

Yumi: "Oh I don't know..."

Man: "Aww come on, whats the matter? I can take good care of ya."

At this point I could see the station as well as the man and Yumi. He tried touching her arm but she pulled it back. Nearby I could see Akiri and Riyoko rushing towards them as well.

Yumi: "Oh, I just remembered that I was supposed to be home by now! Sorry mister but I gotta go now."

Man: "What a shame."

Over the com, I could the slight sound of a blade being unsheathed.

(Y/n): "Yumi get away from him!"
