"Hey! I've missed you dearly, I see you seem quite happy to work with me on my book! Thank you for speaking up and talking to me." Sam turned the stove he was working with off and took 4 grilled cheese sandwiches off the stove.

"Ya know...I made these for you, but I don't think you can eat them." He frowned at his own stupidity and started moving towards his living room again.

"Yes, yes I know, Turn the TV off Sam, the electric bill Sam. Look I forgot." He sat down on his couch and curled his legs up underneath him.

"I'm sorry if I made you uncomfortable with my comment last time about sitting with me on the couch." Sam picked at his sandwich and frowned slightly.

"You don't want to close the book now do you? Please don't, I don't want to be alone again." Sam sighed before taking larger bite of his grilled cheese.

"Ya know," he covered his mouth as his spoke, "talking to you gives me all the inspiration I need, though I would like to ask you a few personal questions, and if you have any for me I'll gladly answer." He swallowed what he had in his mouth and continued talking.

"So, I need to ask, what are your pronouns, your name, and what do you do in your free time? That's all I want to know. I'm looking forward to getting to know you." He made a heart with his middle and pointer finger and smiled brightly.

Sam took his empty plate to the sink and rolled up the sleeves of his button up and started scrubbing the plate.
"Do you wash your dishes right after you use them or do you let them sit in the sink for a while? I let them sit for a while once and they started to smell, I know I know it's gross, but I was busy, being a writer who isn't consistent doesn't pay well. So I'm not always in the house."

He took a towel and dried the plate off and slid it back into the cabinet.
"I like doing the dishes, I don't know what it is about it, but I like washing them and drying them and putting them away, maybe it's the pattern of clean, dry, place. Or maybe it's just me. Do you have any chores you like doing? Or do you just despise them all. I hate vacuuming."

He tossed the towel beside the sink walked into the living room clicking the TV off.
"See TV off before I leave again, now stop yelling at me."
He set the remote on his coffee table in front of the couch and started making his way to his office.

"Ya know, I've spoken enough, let me get started on chapter three for you, yeah?"
