"I'm telling you, you look like an idiot being on all fours just to look for a piece of trash" I said resting my feet at the table

"Just shut up! I can't concentrate"

"What are you two up to?" Naruto asked

I sighed "Kawaki's been looking for the last piece to Himawari's vase"

"I asked Y/n to help me but all they're doing is-"

I push Kawaki out of the way "You seem tired, would you like some tea? I'll brew you some"

"That Kawaki kid is so unfriendly. He glared at me and looked like he was gonna bite me" Iwabe said with crossed arms "But.." he rested his head to the side

"The girl behind him looked like she'd kill me if I dared even to glare at her! It's like she was Kawaki's personal bodyguard."

Metal placed his hands on his face "She was really nice to me when I saw her~ I ended up tripping and falling on her arms!~ she even smiled at me and told me to be careful" metal fell to his knees just fantasizing the short moment he spend with Y/n hoping they would cross paths once more

"Maybe because you didn't show any negative emotions or actions towards Kawaki so don't overthink it" Inojin said "From what my dad told me, she holds grudges against people who she dislikes or people who mess with that Kawaki kid"

Metal silently cried to himself as the thoughts of him marrying Y/n one day became ruined

Cho-Cho sighed "She's lucky she can spend so much time with a handsome guy"

"Achoo!" Kawaki and I sneezed at the the same time

"Man, someone must be talking about us. Ne Kawaki? What do you think they're saying? They probably think we're pretty badass! Or maybe someone's thinking they're gonna marry me on day!"

"Hmph, probably some bullshit-"

I hurry to Kawaki and force him on the ground "Just breathe and don't freak out"

"What the hell-ngh!"

His arm started trembling in pain

"Now we'll go over a technique to ease someone's pain all right?"

'Right, I could use what Sakura taught me'

I placed my hand on his hand, Kawaki intertwined our hands together, gripping it in the process

Green Light started glowing and easing up his pain, causing him to breath more calmly

Suddenly a red mist started forming a portal and Jigen appeared

"Jigen, you bas-" I covered Kawaki's hand and forced him to look down

Jigen wasn't one to get angry by some words but it's still a risk I'm not willing to take

"I apologize Uzumaki Naruto, for coming in with shoes on"

"I don't care about that"

That idiot, Jigens being polite to him and he responds with that!? I thought as I slightly trembled with fear

I don't know Naruto's power yet, so maybe I shouldn't underestimate him too much

Jigen looked down at our hands, his lip slightly twitched upwards

"I just came to take the stubborn couple back home, I have no intention of causing you any trouble"

Naruto charged in but Jigen kicked him away and pinned him down by some chakra sucking rods

A team of 2 came in but got defeated miserably.

Great, it's the end of the village if that's the best they can do, "Your safe now" tch what a bunch of bullshit

Jigen came back to us and told us not to cause any trouble, or we'd pay the consequences

Kawaki let's go of my hand and went in for a punch "Just tell us how to get rid of the damn mark!"

Should I help Kawaki? Or Naruto first? Naruto can probably buy us some time but what if he isn't strong enough?

I was so deep in thought I didn't notice Jigen hurting Kawaki's wrist

I was suddenly in Jigens shoulders, legs crossed around his neck and my arm held a tight grip on his neck

"Let him go"

Jigen didn't let him go but loosened his grip

I quickly get off his shoulders as Naruto kicked him away

We could only watch as Jigen and Naruto fought.

Naruto's too kind, always worrying about the safety of others, that's what leaves him at a disadvantage

"All right I give up!" I tried grabbing Kawaki by the collar but I missed and he jumped off

"Just promise me you won't lay a finger on Lord seventh"

Jigen placed his hand down I ran towards Kawaki gripping his shoulders

"Why!? We're finally out of there and you wanna go back!? Are you out of your mind!?"

Naruto sided with me saying his job was to protect everyone, including us

I hate talk like this, and so does Jigen.

Red mist surrounded Naruto and Jigen and they both disappeared

I wrap my arm around Kawaki's waist to prevent him from falling

"Lord seventh..."

Kawaki let out a scream of pain, while all I could do was comfort him
