Naira who was going towards his room saw him sitting and made her way towards him. She just silently went and sat next to him and continued.

Naira: Hiiii
Kartik(startled by her sudden voice): tum yaha
Naira: kyu mai aa sakti kya
Kartik: nhi aisi baat nhi hai. Tum soi nhi abhi tak
Naira: agar yahi baat mai tumse puchu tao
Kartik: kuch nhi voh sangeet k related kuch arrangements dekh ake yaha baith gya.
Naira: oh great
Kartik: vaise tum yaha kya kar rhi ho
Naira: voh mai bas aise hi, neend nhi aa rhi thi tao yaha aa gyi. Tum kahan kahan chale gye the achanak tumhe pta maine kitna call try kiya tumhe
Kartik: kyu koi kaam tha
Naira: obviously I was missing you
Kartik: did you mean tum mujhe miss kar rhi thi.
Naira(in a low voice): yeah
Kartik(in a sugar coated voice): I feel honoured
Naira(hitting his arm): shut up aur yeh batao koi serious baat thi tum vahan se achanak aa gye
Kartik: yeah actually mujhe mumbai jana padega kal sangeet k baad kisi meeting k karn
Naira: lekin yeh sab function
Kartik: I know lekin yeh important hai vaise sangeet k agle din koi function hai nhi. So I think I will be able to come back before mehndi.
Naira: tum jaa kab rahe ho

Kartik filled her with his plans leaving her a bit dejected. Naira felt a bad after learning about his two days trip to mumbai. In last few days, there was no a single day they didn't meet and now a thought of staying away for two days for making her feel miserable. On top of it, he was the one who had been her support system ever since she has came to udaipur.

Kartik couldn't help but agreed to attend the meeting because his mind was always filled with her thoughts. Whenever she is around he alaways forget about other things. He thought to take a break from her as he knew during the wedding there is no scope of staying away from her. Although he also felt sad for not being able to be with her for two days yet he put all his emotions aside.

Naira: kartik kya mai bhi tumhare saath aa sakti hu
Kartik: kyu I mean aise achanak
Naira: I mean mai almost tumhari har meeting mei tumhare saath hoti tao mai soch rhi thi
Kartik: lekin yaha shaadi
Naira: plz
Kartik: abhi pehla mera jana tao confirm hone do phir tumhara hi drlh lenge.

They both mumbled good night to each other and went to their respective rooms. Both drifted to a sleep once again with each other's thoughts in their minds. Naira wanted to go with him while Kartik wanted to stay away from her.

NEXT DAY

Everyone was busy preparing for the samgeet which was going to held in noon. Some were looking after the arrangements and some were just pampering themselves. While amidst all this, Kartik thought to inform his parents beforehand of his plans. His parents were in their room along with Akshara and Naitik discussing about something when Kartik knocked.

Manish: arrey kartik tum bahar kyu khade andar aao na
Kartik: voh papa mujhe apse aur maa se akele mei kuch baat karni thi
Manish: haa bolo
Kartik: voh mujhe kisi jaruri meeting k liye mumbai jana hai.
Manish: lekin
Kartik: Papa maine try kiya tha postpone lekin voh maan nhi rahe.
Suwarna: beta tum aise sangeet beech mei chodhkar kaise jaa sakte ho
Kartik: mai sangeet k baad hi jaunga aur mehndi se pehla aa bhi jaunga I promoise.

Kartik somehow managed to convince his parents to let him go. Naitik and Akshara just stood there listening their conversation. They were admiring their bond when there was a knock on the door.

Akshara: Naira tum
Naira: voh mujhe apse kuch puchna tha.
Akshara: bolo
Naira: voh mai bhi kartik k saath jaa sakti
Naitik: lekin tumhara vahan kya kaam hai
Naira(with a hesitation): mera vahan kaam tao koi nhi lekin meri puri
Akshara: agar kartik ko koi problem nhi tao chali jao.
Kartik: sure you can
Naira(hugging her): thank you so much apko pta hai papa hamesha sahi kehte the aap bina kahe sab kuch samaj jati ho.
