Turning to her left, Chaeyoung watched the blue go kart whizz past her. Smiling, she stepped up her pace and edged forward. Noona turned back towards her, lifting the shield of her helmet to stick her tongue out at her. The place was not completely full today but there were two sets of different families preparing to get on the track. Doing one more round, she stopped next to the blue kart, Noona already stepping out of it.

'Aaah! You loose Aunty Chae, you owe me a chocolate cake,' she excitedly handed her helmet back to the guide.

'Ey, no, I remember saying it's a slice of chocolate cake. A slice,' she emphasised as Noona giggled at her.

Two months after Noona's eighth birthday, when Chaeyoung's delivery schedule was just getting at its most intense-along with other revelations- she would have to leave the house for weeks. Noona did not take well to this at all. With both her parents having very busy work schedules, it was often, Chaeyoung who had taken her to school, gone to teacher-parent meetings with her, been the one to encourage her to do both soccer and ballet lessons, helped her with her first ever projects and of course taught her to play the guitar.

So, when Chaeyoung had to leave for a trip that was over three-weeks long, Noona was refusing to eat until her 'Aunty Chae', came back home. It was what prompted her parents to get her a cellphone so early, just so that she and Chaeyoung could atleast have a call a day. Upon her return from that trip, Chaeyoung one day said she'd take Noona to school. But instead, she took her out to the Capital City Carnival Circus that was visiting Speckle Town for the week. Sowon and Jimin were not willing to take her because the shows were only during the daytime through the school week. Chaeyoung, saw no harm in making her skip- without her parent's knowledge ofcourse.

However, Sowon had seen the photo's Noona kept of their time out afew days after that but let it slide because her daughter was full of smiles again. But ever since it became a tradition between the two. Every time Chaeyoung came back from a long trip, she'd take Noona out for the day, always on a weekday and spend time with her. Now, they were sitting at the GK restaurant, sharing a huge slice of chocolate cake.

'But why can't I come with?' Noona pouted, some chocolate smeared on her chin.

'Because,' Chaeyoung took a sip of her cream soda, 'I want your Aunty Jennie and I to spend some time alone.'

Noona shook her, 'But that's so unfair! If it wasn't for me Aunty Jennie wouldn't even be thinking that she's your girl.'

'Woah? Hold up,' Chaeyoung held up a hand, eyes amused, 'What makes you say that?'

Noona flopped back in her chair. Almost exasperated, 'Aunty Chae, every time your away I'm always the one making sure to tell Aunty Jennie that you're like the best person ever. When she has to pick me up, I make sure, to show her the pictures you send me on your trips or about something cool you did.'

Chaeyoung sat back in surprise, 'Noonbug, did your Dad ask you to do that?'

She shook her head, 'Nope. I did it because you told me you like her and Aunty Jennie likes to check up on you.'

Accepting that, she tugged her niece towards her and kissed the top of her head, 'Well thank you for the support, Noonbug.'

'Also,' she sat up straight, 'You promised me I'd be a flower girl soon. I'm not getting any younger Aunty Chae,' bursting with a bright laugh she couldn't believe what her niece just said.

'Alright, I'll keep that in mind.'

Noona huffed in satisfaction, 'So? Does that mean I can come with you guys this weekend? Pretty please?' she clasped her hands together eyes large, but Chaeyoung shook her head.
