Ch 24

A couple of weeks have passed. Freya walks to the warriors chambers and to sif's room. She knocks  on the door and shortly after sif opens it

Sif: "reya, what are you doing here?"

Freya: "just wanted to visit you"

Sif warps her arms around freyas neck while freya wraps her arms around sifs waist and they both kiss

Sif: "so what is the reasoning of you visiting my lovely sleeping quarters"

Freya chuckles

Freya: "i arranged a special picnic for the both of us tonight. I wanted to tell you in person and right away"

Sif chuckles

Freya: "dress nicely please"

Sif: "alright, i will"

Freya bows and kisses sif's right hand

Freya: "see you soon darling"

Sif laughs

Sif: "see you soon"

An hour later

Freya hears a knock on her bedroom door

Freya: "you may enter"

The door opens and in walks a woman. Freya looks over and sees the woman

Freya: "valkyrie!"

Valkyrie: "freya"

They both hug

Valkyrie and freya have best friends since birth. Their mothers had been best friends so naturally they were as well. Valkyrie and Freya were practically sister. They never really saw each other since Valkyrie was always traveling around the 9 realms.

Valkyrie: "how have you been love?"

Freya: " I have  been well how about you?"

Valkyries: "i have been alright"

They talk for a bit

Valkyrie: "so are you going to a-"

Freya covers valkyrie mouth

Freya: "do not. I dare say anything and I will kill you"

Valkyrie: "i will not , i will not"

Later that night

Freya: "did you have a nice evening?"

Sif: "yes i did. I enjoyed it very much. I am happy you are home again... i really missed you reya. I was so-"

Freya: "shh sh"

She pulls sif into a hug

Freya: "everything is alright darling. I am home now, safe and surrounded by the people i love"

Sif sobs into freyas shoulder

Freya: "shh shh 'tis alright sif. I am not going anywhere. I promise"

Sif: "p-please do not do that again. Please"

Freya: "I can not promise you because i will do anything to protect you but i promise not to fall into the darkness of the realms again"

They both laugh. They spend time talking and calming down. Freya sits up

Sif: "are you arlight reya?"

Freya smiles

Freya: "yes,  i am"

She kisses sif and then hugs her

Freya: "i am glad i am home..."

They stay in the hug for a couple of minutes

Freya then whispers something into sif's ear

Freya: "marry me sif"

Sif: "what?"

She pulls away from the hug

Freya: "marry me...please. I had a perfect way of asking you but i tossed it all off the ship. I originally planned to ask you the night of the banquet. That it why i asked you to come outside to me. But that did not go according to plan. I am sorry I should have planned this better"

Sif: "i do not care. Yes, yes i will marry you"

Freya places the ring on Sif's right ring finger

They both kiss and then put their foreheads together

Freya: "i love you"

Sif: "i love you too"
