Aight so to explain most if the time I end up being the one who tests things in our family like when any of them are cooking I'm called to taste and when we try something new I'm often the one who tries it first.
Mom: *makes 'croissants' using normal bread dough and gets a chocolate custard kinda thing to put in it*
Later~
Mom: Why don't you go try that croissant thing and you can tell us what its like.
Me: *gets up* The guinea pig as usual
Mom: You don't have to
Me: No its fine
Me: *gets it ready and it looks sus*
Once seated~
Me: *Tastes it* Wow this is actually pretty good
