The Avatar Realm, The Owl House AU, an Avatar story

The discovery

A beam of light comes in through the window, landing in Luz's face waking her up. She stretchs myself, feeling relaxed.

She leaves the bed to get ready for the day. 'What should I wear today' Luz thinks, taking a look at her wardrobe.
She picks a white t-shirt, and some kind of purple hoody, but looser, and a pair of  shorts jeans. It's not like she has much to choose, almost every one of her outfits look identical.

Once downstairs Luz greet Eda.
"Good morning Eda"
"Good morning Kiddo!" Eda answer.

Eda is an cheerful Airbender woman. Despite being an Airbender, she likes to integrate some techniques of other elements to her own style (like Iroh with that waterbender technique he use to redirect lightning). She wears the typical gear of an airbender, orange robes with orange trousers, the two orange being different, one closer to yellow.

Ever since Luz arrived to the Avatar realm Eda had taken care of her and tried to teach Luz her methods, with the hope that maybe Luz was a bender, despite not being from here.

Between the inhabitants of the Avatar were some that could bend an element (just one each) and these were called benders. However there were some that couldn't, the nonbenders. And among the benders there's different type of benders, depending on what type of element they could bend: airbenders, waterbenders, earthbenders, and finally but not least, firebenders.
In the old days they used to live divided by elements, but now they live all together, mixed, so you can find a family in which a son is waterbender while his sibling is earthbender. You got what I mean.
However, there still remain some tribus who choose to isolate themselves, with the propose of not mixing elements.

Anyways, Luz hadn't show any type of bending so far, but in the time she had spend here she has embraced the air culture, she even wanted to get arrow tattoos (temporary tattoos of course) but couldn't since she wasn't a bender, and therefore she couldn't become an Airbender master, which is the only requirement to get tattoos.
But being an optimistic girl she doesn't lose hope.

Today Eda was gonna try teach her the most basic Airbender techniques, create a breeze. For it Eda makes a circle with her hands, directing them to where she wants the breeze to go.
Eda repeats this process a few time before someone interrupt.
"Eda, is time for our session"
It was King, a half-spirit half-animal with the form of a dog, but with a skull for head.
Their session was an appointment for rubbing his tummy.
"Wait, so soon? I haven't learn anything yet!"
"I can do it once last time if you want me to"
"Alright, can I record it so I can watch it whenever I want"
"Sure, just catch my good side hehe"
Eda makes the circle and the movement one more time while Luz holds her phone up.

Eda and King leave Luz looking to her phone.
After watching the video several times Luz realized that just before the breeze is created there's always a glitch. She tried stop the video in this exact moment, taking several tries she managed it. A circle appears in her screen, with a drawing inside.
It looks like someone has drawn three breezes.

She takes a paper out of her backpack and draw the symbol. Nothing happens. Luz a little disappointed let her hand down, tapping the drawing by accident, and suddenly a breeze of air come out of the paper, startling her.
It took a moment for her to realized what just happened.
She just created a breeze, she had just airbend.
"I...I can't believe it! I just made that!!And...no one is gonna believe me, i have to make it again."
She repeats the drawing tapping on it.
"I can't believe, this could change everything! But...I can't tell anyone because if this ends in the wrong hands...it could be disastrous!"

Luz runs towards the encounter of Eda and King.
"Eda, Eda, I...I just..."
"What kiddo? Spill it"
"I just made a breeze!"
"What? Show me!"
Luz take another piece of paper and draws another circle with the three lines, carefully so Eda don't see her doing it, and pulse it. Air come out of the sheet, direct to Eda, blowing her hair in her face.
