Chapter 3 : Love ?

Heeseung was young, he didn't know what was love. He felt that he loved Jaeyun, however he was still unsure. It was then during a Character and Citizenship Education lesson that Heeseung learned what it is like to love, the different types of relationships, what happens in a relationship.
His teacher explained that there is different ways to love and everyone feels different emotions when it comes to love. There is family's love, friend's love and a lover's love.
He was exposed to the world of love, the way things go, what changes will happen.
"What is most common when it comes to a lover's love is that you will feel an attachment to the person, a different feeling compared to others, your heart will throb. You will want to stay by the person's side and want to protect him or her.
He thought to himself, he has felt all those with jaeyun before. Could it be ?
His heart tells him that he loves jaeyun while his mind tells him that he is too young to know what is love.
He had no one to discuss this topic with, the only one who he can share his thoughts with, is jaeyun. But well, he couldn't share this one with him. He was afraid the younger would get weirded out.

The thought about soon, jaeyun will be leaving the country hurts his heart. It aches, it pumps faster. His eyes gets teary, his nose get stuffy. He curls up on his bed, hugging his knees. The thought where soon he will never see his bestfriend for a long long time breaks him. He wants to be with Jaeyun, stay by his side. Play together and talk every night.

While crying he looked back at the times with Jaeyun. He remembered the time where he fell so sick he couldn't go out to play. He laid in bed, energylessly, pale and in agony. He had a high fever of 39°C and felt extreme nausea. Jaeyun was sad of course but that didn't stop him from seeing his hyung. No matter how hard their parents tried, they could never split them apart.
That night, jaeyun ran into heeseung's room and sat on his bed. His parents warned him that he could get sick too but he wasn't concerned by that. The only thing he could care about is his hyung.
He went to the bookshelf and took heeseung's favourite book, sat on the edge of the bed and read it to him
The words were hard, some of which he had never learnt before. Some he had difficulty reading it, but he tried. He read the book to heeseung. Heeseung would correct his pronunciation and explain the words to him even though he felt weak. Jaeyun would attentively listen and repeat after heeseung, he was so happy and proud of himself that he learnt 6 new words that night. Heeseung giggles at jaeyun's cuteness.
Jaeyun knew he shouldn't go too close, but he didn't know how close was close. He ended up laying on heeseung's legs and giving him a tight hug before going home.

Heeseung felt much better after seeing jaeyun, it was like happiness does treat all illnesses.
Remembering that night made heeseung cry even harder but with a smile on his face. "I'll miss you" he said in a muffled tone as he continues to cry.
