"Happy birthday," Felix said and kissed Marinette's cheek to wake her up. It was Sunday, Marinette's birthday. It also meant that it's two weeks until Marinette's coronation.
It was beginning to feel closer too. The day before she had a dress fitting and some testing for makeup designs.
"Thank you," Marinette said and sat up, rubbing her eyes.
"Now, come on. Shower and get dressed and put on the blindfold when you're done. I gave you an outfit," Felix said. "I'll be waiting here."
Marinette got out of bed and was faced with an outfit on the chair. It was beautiful.
She quickly showered and did her makeup. Then she put on the outfit.

To go with the outfit, she put on pink flats and put her hair in a bun.
She walked out to Felix and he smiled at her gently.
"I knew I chose well," he said.
"That's just because I taught you well," Marinette retorted and walked over to him. He gave her a quick kiss and because her eyes were closed, he slid on a pink blindfold.
"Now, come on," he said and Marinette groaned.
He began to lead her through the halls and when they came to the staircase, he picked her up bridal style, making her laugh.
Once they made it to the spot, Felix took off the blindfold and everyone, including Felix, yelled, "Happy birthday!"
Marinette smiled and said, "Thank you guys so much! This is adorable!"

As they began to eat, Luka asked, "So, bug, how does it feel to know you'll be the ruler of a country in two weeks?"
Marinette paused before answering. "Stressful but also amazing."
"But...?" Chloe asked.
"It's making it more real. It adds more pressure. But with you guys I'll do fine," Marinette said. Everyone had a role.

"It's exciting though," Marinette said. "Especially since you're my chief lady-in-waiting, Alya." Everyone smirked, as they knew, while Alya gasped in surprise.
"Wait, what?" Alya yelled.
"Of course!" Marinette said and Alya ran over and hugged her. "You'll need to go through a lot of training though."
"I will do anything," Alya said.
"Well then, let's get you to learn languages, perfect etiquette, and perfect memorization for my schedule," Marinette said, making everyone smile.
