LEGOLAS-CENTURIES

Centuries. How Legolas loathed that word. His dad has been around for 6,000 years, and he's only been around for 2,981 years. You, on the other hand, you're only 1,748 years old. Since you aren't as old as Legolas, Thranduil, and Elrond, you are in a constant danger. You grew up in Rivendell,  but then you were thrown out and forced to move to Mirkwood. Your father is Feanor. He is the only son of Finwe, High King of the Noldor.

*Flashback*

"Y/N! GET BACK HERE NOW!"  Y/F/N yelled.

"Never!" you yelled back. You ran into Elrond.

"Lord Elrond," you said.

"Y/N, go back. We will discuss this with your father," Elrond said. Uh oh. It's bad if you're in trouble with Elrond. Never good. You walk back behind him with your head down in shame, as if you knew your punishment already. Y/F/N smirked at you once he passed by. You shook your head no.

-After being yelled at for two hours-

"Feanor, your family has to leave Rivendell," Elrond said.

"Yes my lord," Feanor said.

*End*

"Y/N, are you alright?" Legolas asks sitting down next to you.

"Remembering why I'm here and not in Rivendell," you say.

"Why was that?" he asks.

"Today was the day my family was kicked out of Rivendell," you shy away.

"Why was that?" he asks again.

"I was an elfling at the time. Y/F/N and I thought it would be funny to prank Lord Elrond, which we learned the hard way of not to do," you say.

"Oh wow," he says.

"Yeah. I was not that bright. But, now. I've learned to calm down," you say.

"I'm glad," he says.

"Mainly because of your father. Freaking scary guy," you say and he laughs.

"He does scare a lot of people, but no need to worry," he says.

"No need? There is every need," you say.

"I should not have said that," he says.

"Have you seen him of late? Ordering your borders shut? Does that not cause worry in you, Legolas?" you ask.

"It does now that you mention it," he says.

"Y/N, Legolas, the king wants to see you," a guard says.

"Uh oh," you say and you two go inside.

"What did we do wrong?" you ask.

"I don't know," Legolas says.

"Ada, you wanted to see us," he says.

"I did. Y/N, you may know this person, Y/F/N," Thranduil says.

"I do. She was my best friend from Rivendell," you say.

"Why do you say that?" you ask.

"She is coming to visit," he says.

"When?" you ask.

"One week," he says.

"Why was I needed then?" Legolas asks.

"You are going to help Y/N show Y/F/N around," Thranduil says. You can't believe it! Y/F/N is going to be with you again!

"Is that it?" you ask.

"Yes," he says and we leave.

"You look happy," Legolas says.

"Lego, of course, I am. I haven't seen her since this day 700 years ago," you say.

"You remind me so much of my father when he was young. He was adventurous, curious, brave, wanting to explore the outside world," he says.

"For one thing, I am a female, not a male," you say and he laughs.

"Aside from that, you two are alike," he says.

*Next week*

"Y/N, time to get up," Legolas says. You ignore him and go back to sleep. He falls onto your bed causing you to fall onto the floor. You groan in displeasure.

"Ouch," you say standing up.

"What was that for?" you ask.

"Listen next time I get you up," he says leaving. You get dressed. You go down to the kitchen.

"Y/N, you're finally up," Thranduil says.

"Thanks to a rude awakening," you say glaring at Legolas and he smirks in return.

"Why are you glaring at my son?" he asks.

"He's the reason why I'm not so happy right now," you say.

"What did he do?" he asks smiling.

"Legolas, care to explain?" you smirk.

"I rather not," Legolas says.

"C'mon, someone is going to have to talk eventually," Thranduil says.

"I will," you and Legolas say together.

"Someone just talk please," he says.

"Legolas will," you say.

"I tried to wake her up. Ignored that. Fell on her bed and she fell onto the floor," Legolas says and Thranduil chuckles. A guard comes in.

"Lady Y/N, someone is here to see you," the guard says.

"Thank you," you say. You go to the doors and they open. It's Y/F/N.

"Y/F/N!" you yell hugging her.

"Y/N," she says hugging back.

"It's been A LONG time since I've seen you," you say.

"I know," she says.

"Welcome to Mirkwood," you say.

"Thank you," she says.

"I was about to eat breakfast, follow me," you say leading her to the kitchen.

"Y/F/N, this is King Thranduil and his son, Prince Legolas," you say.

"What would Feanor say of this? You staying alone with two men?" she smirks.

"Funny, Y/F/N," you say sitting down next to Legolas.

"You can have my breakfast, not hungry," you say. Thranduil keeps looking at her.

"So, why are you here? Not that I'm not happy you aren't," you say.

"Three things. My father, Lord Elrond said I should visit. Two, your father said I should visit. Three, dwarves are in Rivendell," she says.

"The Company of Thorin Oakenshield," you say.

"Who?" she asks.

"Thorin Durin? Oakenshield is a nickname. He fought Azog the Defiler with an oakenshield," you say.

"Oh, Thrain's kid?" she says.

"Yeah, that Thorin," you say and she laughs.

"I remember the day you were kicked out of Rivendell," she says.

"I do too, sadly," you say.

"It's not every day your friend gets kicked out of a place," she says.

"You didn't get kicked out because Lord Elrond is your father," you say.

"I knew we shouldn't have played that prank on my father," she says.

"He reaction was priceless though," you say and she laughs.

"It was. Woke up half of Rivendell," she says.

"Yeah, good times," you say. You three sat around and talked about the experiences of the centuries.
