Lucien's POV

"Bixby, is everything ok?" I ask Aarav

"Yes Chips, my parents along Uncle Enzo will lead your mom into the mansion without her suspecting a thing. They'll be there in 20 minutes" he informs me

"What about you?" I ask

"I'll be there in NOW" he says

I look up and see him walking through the entrance carrying a huge thin but wide thing, wrapped in gift paper

"What's that?"

"A gift for yo mama" he replies, trying to stiffle a laugh but fails miserably

I stand and wait for him to finish laughing

"That wasn't even that funny." I say

"I know but that why it IS funny." He says and finally catches his breath

"Anyways, I'm putting this with the other gifts. Where's the rest of people?" He asks

"They're in the kitchen. Come, let's go" I say and we both walk into the kitchen

"Good evening fuckers." Aarav says and greets everybody

"When are they gonna get here Rav?" Adeline asks

"In about 20 minutes Addy-" he replies and leans on the island.

"Why are you leaning on the island? You miss home" Alessandro says, starting a roast battle

"I do miss home. I can see that you don't, otherwise you'd be sleeping on a piece of cardboard on the road. Ex homeless child" Aarav retorts

I chuckle

"Why are you laughing? You tried to kill your now girlfriend and failed for over 10 years. No-one in this room has ever failed an assassination before." Alessandro fires

"Well I'm glad, I failed. I got a girlfriend now." I say and pull Celine into me

"Well I got a fiance." He says and pulls Adeline into him

We both look at Aarav

"Why are you quiet now?" I ask

"Weren't you fired up before? Why are you quiet now? Awww does he feel sad he doesn't have a girl" Alessandro adds

"That's cause I don't want any." He says

"You don't want or you can't get any" Alessandro says

"Bitch please, I don't want one. If I wanted one. I'd flirt with you. Short dick man. A clit is bigger" Aarav counters

"Motherfucker I-" Alessandro begins but is interrupted by Aarav putting his finger up while looking at his phone

"We'll continue our roasting session another time. Dad just texted. They'll be here in 5 minutes." He says

"WHAT? YOU SAID THAT THEY SAID 20 MINUTES." Adeline responds

"I know but you know that your dad speeds so let's go." He says and walks into the living room.

Celine come and holds my hand. I bring her hand up and kiss it, rubbing my thumb over it.

"I thought I'd be ok but fuck. I'm feeling nervous now. What if they-" she begins

But I cut her off by placing my lips over hers in a soft, short and sweet kiss
