Okay I am going to put this chapter here from my last book cause Mel and Kenzi will become best friends in both books
"Oh, Mel he is so you will see Kenzi as well cause she is excited to see you again" Louis says to her cause the girls have grown close over Facetime, and they were excited to see other and they were going to be good friends later in life
Mel could not wait to introduce Kenzi to her friends and they were going to have a sleepover after the livestream and Kenzi was going to help with the controls cause Niall was going to perform with Louis on some numbers and Louis was going to join Niall when he did his livestream cause the fans were going to go nuts when two members of the band were together
"Mel, do you want the trailer in the backyard for your sleepover?" Louis asks her cause Mel wanted to have a sleepover so bad, and he caved in, and she was excited to have her first alone event since the pandemic cause she has been planning this for a while cause the sleepover was going to start in the afternoon before the livestream and during the live stream, they were going to have an enjoyable time and dance and just be kids as well
"Yes, and Kenzi can go in the tent as well as my friends that don't fit in the trailer" Mel says as she was finishing setting up
Louis thought Kenzi would want to be in the trailer on a proper bed and hanging out with other girls cause she only had one friend in her school Louis was helping Niall bust out of her shell cause she went back into her shell for some reason, and he was hoping Mel could help them solve this mystery of why she was in her shell
(Livestream day)
Niall came over early to have sound check to make sure everything works okay
"Kenzi, I believe Mel is waiting in the trailer and she wants to talk to you privately" Louis tells her as Niall started to get the younger ones out of the car
Kenzi heads out to the trailer, and she sees that the door was closed so she knocked, and waited for Mel to open it
"Kenzi, you don't have to knock you can always come in the door is always opened" Mel says as she opened the door for her friend so she could go into the trailer
Kenzi goes in and she sees that there was not a bed for her
"Kenzi, I brought you in here to talk and see if I can get you to open up cause my dad talked to your dad, and you been in your bubble a lot lately, and your dad is worried about you" Mel tells her as they sat at the table and they were going to talk
"Okay I'll open up" Kenzi says as they were going to talk about her past cause she has been keeping it bottled up lately and she did not want to say anything until now
Mel got some snacks for the two of them in case they wanted to eat as they talked about what was going on with Kenzi
"How long have you been keeping this a secret?" Mel asks her as they were talking
"Since i was in that orphanage and once daddy Niall got me and my sister out, I kept it to myself ever since" Kenzi says as she took some popcorn as well cause it was helping her
"That long huh?" Mel asks her
"Yeah, I never told anyone except for you that my old parents and once i went to that orphanage I was very abused" Kenzi says to Mel as she starts to lose it
"Kenzi it's okay it will be a secret between the two of us no one will know only us two will know what happened here" Mel says as she hugs Kenzi close to her
"Promise?" Kenzi asks as she sniffles
"I pinky promise no one else will know and you can tell me more" Mel says as she was going to keep this a secret and not tell her dad or Kenzi's dad at all and Mel was going tot ake it to the grave as well
