The night rides in on a horse of pure midnight velvet, beckoned by the stars under the glow of a full moon. As the colours of the day rest, perhaps dream of the morrow, the hillside becomes its monochrome beauty, shapes that make an ever-changing, ever-present puzzle, question and answer united. In this night we all become one, from rock to plant to animal, one promise of life awaiting the return of the sun.

The pale crescent moon shone like a silvery claw in the night sky. The whole neighborhood almost sounds like devoid of any human population. Under the starry blanket two figures are slowly stepping forward continuously checking their surroundings.

"San, are you sure about this?" Asked the tall figure with slightly raised eyebrows. "Oh.. Dong! You are really no fun. You are 20 now for fucks sake. Just relax or we will miss her. As long as I know, you surely don't want this to happen. Right." The tiny one questioned with a small wink. Which turned the later's cheeks into slightly pink blush. Under normal circumstances one could have easily ignored this change in behaviours, especially when you are walking under a charcoal velvet night. But knowing him from beginning the girl could easily see the blush that crept into his cheeks. And a small smile made its way to her lips. "Okay. Can you just walk fast. I don't want to be late."

"Uhh! Easy man. I'm just joking." But deep inside the girl knows that blush was not meant for her, which unintentionally made her sad. They were together for more than seven years now. Not the two, but the three of them, like bestfreinds. Being the elder-one she can understand everything in the atmosphere. But hiding her feelings was the best thing she could do for now. Afterall she doesn't want to turn those beautiful moments into the worst nightmares. Same goes for the boy, who is in love almost from the day when he saw her for the first. But the thing is not same for her.

She was different. Different from everyone around. For her they are the two most precious souls, whom she never wants to loose. When everyone said her friendship with Dong will never workout, cause a boy-girl friendship will always lead to only one thing.... She never believed that. Whatever situation it may be their friendship will always be pure.

Dong is also okay with this. It's just a simple teenaged crush, Right! Atleast this is what he thinks.

"Dong. Be quick. Only fifteen minutes in our hands." To which the boy replied with a small nod as if she could see him. After two minutes, they are now infront of the small two-storey cozy house.

"We have to go up through the balcony. We can't ring the bell. You know her aunty and cousin. And don't stand like a monument, just help me to go up. Okay!" Sana said with simply raising her eyebrows. As per que Dong bent down to carry her on his shoulder. To which Sana obliged with no complaints. "Ugh! You are heavier than I thought. Ahhh.."

Sana chuckled a little and an idea popped up in her naughty brain. "Dong, up, up. More higher. Moreeeee.. . Yeah! Like that. Faster. I can't hold anym-"

"What the hell is wrong with you, San. What will others think upon hearing this?"

" There is no one to hear us Dong. At this time hardly anyone will disturb us." She replied with a soft giggle and not to forget with a flirty wink. To which the latter responded with a sigh. Sana get hold of the railings of the balcony, slowly using her right hand and left leg. " And up. Yeah!"

She looked down signaling Dong to come up. "What? How am I supposed to reach there?"
"Wait." Sana bring out a rope from her bag and threw one of the end towards him. "Seriously. You are with this all the time. And made me carry your fatty as*." To which Sana responded with a meaningful grin.
