New girl

chapter one

"MOM! WHATCH OUT!" I yelled as I realized, we were headed straight into a semi truck. Then the car swerved and everything went black. All I remember is my mom and sister saying I love you while I couldn't get the words out.

"ARIA WAKE UP!" My dad yelled. I sat up instantly regretting it as a raging pain struck through my body. I looked around, I was in a hospital, my dad was here, but I couldn't understand why I was here.

"Daddy?" I asked.

"Hi baby girl." He smiled and wiped away the tears I didn't know I shed.

"Why am I here? Why are you here? Your supposed to be in Texas?" I asked.

"Baby, there was an accident, Eleanor and Tabatha, there no longer with us. But you get to move in with me back in Texas, and you can spend some more time with Bella, Sophie and piper." He said as tears flowed down my cheeks.

"Her name is pepper, dad." I emotionless.

"Right, sorry. Anyway, what had you so scared." Dad asked.

"My mom was driving and Eleanor was riding shot gun, we were laughing and singing along to the radio, and then there was a semi truck headed towards us, my mom tried turning the car, but it slipped because of the rain and we went straight into a mountain. Then they managed to get 'I love you guys' out and everything went black. Dad, is that how mom and Eleanor passed." I asked quietly.

He just nodded and pulled me into a hug. I just cried into his shoulder. Eleanor, My sister, my best friend, dead. Tabatha, my mother, my best friend, dead. Both my life lines, gone. Well at least I still have Bella, Sophie and Pepper.
****1 week later****

I just came home from the hospital and dad was trying to get the life sized teddy bears into the house. I did my best to get the roses and chocolates into the house. I stared at the cast on my arm. It should be off before my first day at school.

I looked around my room, I had taken my Christmas lights down from around my walls and half my posters were rolled up and were being put into a box. My clothes was packed and so was my bed sheets and pillows, the moving van came by yesterday and got all our furniture, according to my dad anyway. I pushed a few boxes my door and packed the last of my posters. I then picked up each photo and wrapped it in bubble wrap and put it in a box, or if it wasn't framed in my shoe box along with my fujifilm instax mini 8 camera and packed all my last minute things then my dad took them to his truck I grabbed my bags and the light boxes as i blanced them in my left hand and made it outside while my dad grabbed the rest of my boxes and put the teddy bears back into the truck.

while I let my german shepard, Rocky, and my chihuahua, Ratty, into the truck, then I went back inside and picked up the crate full of chicks, while they chirped like crazy as I picked it up. I set it in the middle seat in the front of the car, I grabbed my phone and bag and sat in the front of the car. I fiddled with gold heart locket that had a picture of my mom and Eleanor in it.

My dad glanced at my as he got in and we started to drive. Something was cold agaainst my leg, i glanced down and saw it was just the bracelet my sister gave me for my birthday a few weeks ago. My dad stopped at Susi's house as I stared at it. I sighed and got the small box I had and put four chicks in it. I knocked on the door and my eyes started to tear up.

"Hey." Susi said opening the door. I glanced at her and saw her hair was pulled up messily, and she was crying.

"Hi, um here are the chicks you wanted." I said saddly as tears ran down my cheeks.I have to leave my best friend, I've known her since kinder garden, and now its coming to an end. She took the box andd set it on the table next to her and we hugged each other and cried.
