Managing the Rockstar

Chapter 32

It was just starting to snow when we finished with breakfast. It was a huge hit even KeKe, who "never eats carbs", had a second helping. We settled in the family room with coffees and were watching the news deciding what to do today.

"Well I still have to get a couple things. Penelope do you want to come shopping with me for a bit?" Keke asked.

It felt like a great opportunity to get to know her. Plus I needed to get Mr. Winters something. Harry insisted I didn't need to get him or his siblings anything but I would try to find something for them. For Harry I already got a picture frame with a picture of us to open but the real present would be later. I hoped he liked it and didn't think I was a creep.

"Yeah that would be great actually."

Harry shot me a look of surprise. "Really? You don't have to."

Keke scoffed. "Despite your incorrect opinion, I am delight to shop with. We're going to have a lovely time."

After showering and getting ready, Keke and I leave a nervous Harry at home and head out. We drive for about an hour, KeKe talking most of the way about her life and travels. I'm genuinely interested, her life sounds amazing. I mean I guess I'm doing a lot of traveling and meeting people too but hers is without work and seems so exciting.

"I really think you could get a huge following if you wanted. You're gorgeous and touring with Harry, you'd have a hundred thousand followers in a week I bet." She says pulling into a parking garage.

Were in Manchester going to this big mall they have. She says its a lot of designer and higher end stuff but its a good mix of places. Some stores from the states I will recognize too.

"Well go to Next first. It's a huge store, could probably get most of our shopping done there to be honest." She says pulling into a spot. "And theres a chocolate shop you could get my dad some treats. Big sweet tooth he has."

"Thank you that's really helpful. I didn't really know what to get him but I wanted to get something. It's the least I could do." I say as I get out of the car.

We shopped for the next few hours, going to a few different stores. This place was huge. I found a nice pair of gloves for Harry who refuses to buy any and got a bunch of Mr. Winters favorite chocolates and some high end coffee with a nice tumbler. I felt bad for not getting anything for Keke or Michael but I didn't really have the money to spend and I had no idea what to get. Keke insisted I didn't need to and promised her and Michael wouldn't get me anything so I wouldn't have to feel guilty.

"Hey let's take a picture in front of these ornaments." Keke said as we were walking back towards the exit. They had this beautiful display of pink, purple and gold ornaments that almost looked like a big bouquet of balloons.

We had been taking random pictures together all day, mostly me taking pictures of her for her to post. I didn't get it but to each their own I guess.

"Excuse me, could you take a photo of us?" Keke asked two girls that were doing the same with the display.

They took her phone from her and we posed near the display. I smiled as Keke wrapped her arm around my shoulder, popping her other arm out to the side. She had her legs crossed in front and made slight adjustments with her body. She was a master of posing.

After taking several pictures and finding one Keke actually liked we thanked the girls and started walking towards the carpark again.

"Thanks again for coming with me. I had so much fun with you." Keke said to me as we exited the mall.

"Yeah me too. Thanks for inviting me. It's nice to get a little girl time." And it was. I had some time with the girls on tour but mostly spent it with Harry and Jim.
