13 : adjust

"You've experienced that... for how long?"
Hwayoung stuttered.

"For fourteen years... I think."
Jungwon shrugged as he took a seat on his bed.

"Fourteen years..."
Hwayoung muttered out in disbelief.

Jungwon had experienced even worse...

"Isn't it relatable?"
Jungwon tried to laugh it off but an uncontrollable tear rolled down his cheek.

"Jungwon..."
Hwayoung's voice croaked as she instinctively pulled him into a hug which startled him a little.

She pitied him so much, way more than herself.

He must be so young then...

She felt that Jungwon deserved the hug so much.

He needed it.

She could feel his heart thumping slowly.

Ba dum.... Ba dum....

Only after a few more seconds, Hwayoung then felt Jungwon's arms on her back and he tightened the hug.

"Thanks so much..."
Jungwon sniffed and wiped away his tears as they both pulled away from the hug.

"It's relatable. So that's why I trust you to help me."
Jungwon looked at Hwayoung with hope in his eyes.

As much as he wanted to hide the fact that he was in pain, deep inside his heart, he desperately wanted to get over it and recover quickly.

He hated being socially awkward.

He hated being scared of people.

He hated being scared about that event.

He hated being in this horrible state.

"Help me, please..."
He begged and held onto one of her hands as tightly as he could.

"I will."
Hwayoung answered with determination and held back his hand tightly.

"And, I promise."
She vowed and the both of them did a pinky promise.

"Have you tried art therapy before?" Hwayoung asked when an idea lit up in her mind.

"Nope."
Jungwon shook his head.

"We should try that out then since your art skills are impressive!"
Hwayoung excitedly said.

"Alright, then."
Jungwon shrugged his shoulders since he had no opinions about her idea.

"From now on, you have to draw your feelings daily in..."
Hwayoung paused and looked through her bag.

Fortunately, I brought this along with me!
