14 : butterflies

"HWAYOUNG! HWAYOUNG! HE'S SO GOOD LOOKING! I CAN'T DO THIS ANYMORE-"
Sihyo squealed in excitement when she found someone posting a photo of Jungwon.

"Shit, I forgot that Sihyo had a crush on Jungwon."
Hwayoung groaned internally as she slapped her face inside.

Looks like I'll have to let go of my feelings...

"Yeah, it's nice!"
Hwayoung replied with a fake smile on her face.

I liked Jungwon a lot.

In such a short time though, I already fell for him...

But, Sihyo was the best choice for him.

I have to let go.

Or should I just let it be a one-sided love?

Since anyways, the chances of Jungwon liking me back is zero.

"Oh, Hwayoung! Where did you get this clip from? It's so pretty!"
Sihyo pointed at the dandelion clip that Jungwon gave Hwayoung.

"Oh, a great friend of mine gave it to me."
Hwayoung answered vaguely.

"Who? It must be customised, right? I've never seen this before."
Sihyo stared at it in awe.

"Just a friend."

"Who is it? The person must have known you very well to buy you a dandelion clip? Was it any of your clients? Or was it Yunhee?"
Sihyo guessed.

Before Hwayoung could answer, the teacher for the next class came in and everyone rushed back to their seats, including Sihyo.

"Sihyo, how am I going to bring this up to you..."
Hwayoung sighed and glanced at Jungwon who already had his eyes on her.

'You, okay?' He mouthed out and Hwayoung nodded back sadly.

If she told Sihyo that she liked Jungwon, their friendship might be ruined.

"I shouldn't be so selfish, right? After all, there's a high chance of this being an infatuation."
Hwayoung cleared her thoughts and paid attention to the teacher.

"Seems like you are in a good mood today?"
Hwayoung smiled at the sight of Jungwon when she entered his room.

His presence instantly made butterflies in her stomach and her face blushed a little.

Fortunately, she looked away in time and he did not notice it.

"Yeap, I'm pretty happy today."
Jungwon replied back cheerfully.

"Since you are in a good mood, what do you want to talk about?"
Hwayoung sat next to him.

"Anything."
Jungwon replied.

"Looks like you've become more confident in yourself today! Good!" Hwayoung praised.

"Mhmm. I've become a little more confident. I don't know why but, you made me realise that talking to people isn't that bad."
Jungwon responded.

"Great!"
Hwayoung smiled.

Inside of her, she was going insane.

Her heart was palpitating.

She was dancing in joy internally.
