will he actually die just to save Venti? the " enemy " , the one he hated when they first met?

That girl was no threat to me
She's a girl , she can't do anything but hire people to kill the person they want dead.

I went back back to my room , I saw Venti- he wasn't crying anymore. 

" Oh hey Xiao , Did she talk to you?... " Venti asked me in a worried tone

" Mhm , She just said be careful if im with you- Don't worry Venti " I said , hoping that it won't worry Venti

" Alright then.. Do you want to watch stuff? " he asked me

" Sure i guess , I really have nothing to do right now " i said

It was already night time , suddenly someone texted me it was an unknown number .... Could it possibly be Yael? If so , How did she get my number even?

yael ; that's a secret , come to the back of the school... we will have a little duel- if you can even fight haha.

I closed my phone , writing a note for Venti if he ever wakes up 

I snuck out of the dorm- I was finally in the back of the school although something managed to get me off guard

I got shot in the head , before my vision went completely blank- I heard Yael laughing at me and saying

" Watch every corner , You don't know what's coming for you~ "


Then i fainted [ i'm straightforward , what can i say ]

[ Venti's Perspective ] 

I suddenly woke up at 12 am , Having nightmares- I thought Xiao would be there so i could cuddle him... but he wasn't

I saw a note saying

" hi venti , ur crazy ex wanted to meet up with me so i'll be gone for a bit - xiao " 

what? he was meeting up with Yael?! no , no , no- I have to find him quick.

I rushed out of the dorms , suddenly i bumped into someone- it was Yael 

" Oh? Venti~ Where are you going? And whya re you up so early , dear~ " Yael said 

" Shut up , WHAT DID YOU DO TO XIAO?! " I yelled , forgetting that we're in the hallways and i could've woke somebody up

" Just a little... pew- If you want to see him dead , laying in the ground then he's at the back of the school~ " She winked at me , as i rushed there


atleast she wasn't lying 



When i finally reached the back of the school , i saw Xiao laying there- just as Yael said

shit shit shit , this was all my fault

I called Hu Tao and Ganyu for help [ dumb venti- why did you call them- ]

when they finally arrived , Ganyu immediately called thee.... ambulance? [ idk what you call it , do you call 911 or smthn.. ]

" Venti.... it was her , right? " Tao asked me

" yes... " I said

" Venti , right? " The doctor asked me

" Yes? Is he still alive " I asked hoping that he would be

" Mhm the gunshot wasn't too hard , although it damaged the brain pretty bad... It could erase his memories , and he will be in coma for some time too " The doctor explained

" Alright , Thank you- Doc "


I rushed in the room 


I sat there , beside Xiao- holding his hands hoping he won't be in coma for too long

it doesn't make sense , but here's a badly written angst for you since i saw like 100 billion squid game x genshin soo
