Ian's POV

"Bro, of all people bakit ako pa ang ipapadala mo sa Batanes, that's far from here".

"It's just a week  treat this as your vacation Ian".

"Vacation my ass!, if you really want to give me a vacation just approve my one-month leave".

"You're the head of general surgery team, you can't leave for a month". seryosong saad nito.

"Seriously pare, mapapanis na ang sperm cells ko, nasasayang lang", pabirong saad ko dito.

"F*ck you, wag mo akong gaguhin eh halos gabi-gabi ka ngang nag-uuwi ng babae sa condo unit mo".

"Talagang ganyan kapag single pare, natitikman ko lahat ng putahe".

"Baka hindi mo alam marami ka na palang anak sa labas".

"I'm always protected".

"Nabubutas and condom, that's not hundred percent".

We are bestfriends eversince at inaaliw ko lang tong kaibigan ko dahil ilang buwan na itong problematic. He supposed to be the one who will go to Batanes for a medical mission, pero on process ang hearing ng custody ni Sky kaya hindi ito pwedeng mawala. His annulment with Heather has been approved a month ago. Ngayon, naman inaasikaso nito ang custody ng anak para sa puder ito. The truth is wala naman talagang karapatan si Heather sa bata because she's not the bioligical mother at wala naman siyang pakialam sa bata. I was there when he was so down, when the mother of his children decided to leave the kids to him. Kung hindi ba naman isa't kalahating gago itong kaibigan ko, she force her. He never hide something from me at alam ko ang mga ginawa niya. Actually, I already met Sienna and she's still so young. Hindi ko masisisi kung pipiliin niyang magsimula ulit because she's been through a lot at a young age. Maybe, she's just thinking that her kids will have a good life with Tyler.

"Okay after a week, promise me to approved my one week leave. I need to unwind pare".

"Okay just be my substitute at Batanes Medical Mission".

"So, diet ako for a week huh", siguraduhin mo lang yang bakasyon ko pare" , natatawang saad ko.

"Hello Manang".

"Sir Tyler, umiiyak na po si Stella hinahanap po kayo, ayaw po kasing kumain, bakit di pa daw po umuuwi ang mama niya",

"Tell her that I'll be home in 30 minutes".

"I'll go ahead Ian, umiiyak na naman si Stella".

"Bring to her what she needs, no offense pare pero alam mong nasanay ang anak mo na kasama ang mama niya, your children needs their mother"

"She left them at mula ng umalis siya wala na siyang karapatan sa mga anak ko, she told me not to look for her anymore at hindi namin siya kailangan".

"Alam mo ba ang rason ng pag-alis niya?".

"Malinaw sa akin lahat ng dahilan niya at kung hindi niya kailangan ang mga anak ko, she has no part on our family too".

"Maybe she has a deep reason to leave Tyler, sana iyon muna ang una mong inalam".

Hindi na ito sumagot at tuluyan ng lumabas sa opisina ko

I don't really know Sienna, but by the looks of it hindi siya iyong taong basta na lang iiwan ang mga  anak niya para magsimula ng bagong buhay. When she's pregnant at her second child doon pa lang sana hindi niya na tinuloy if she really wants to start a new. But anyway, bakit ko pa iniisip iyon its their problem.

"According to the plan, the team of doctors will proceed to the areas of Itbayat. People needs medical attention in the isolated and far flung areas of Itbayat kaya doon kame tututok.

"We brought medical equipments for laboratory test to examine the patients lalo na't hindi sila gaanong nakakapunta sa hospital dahil malayo iyon mula rito.

"I was assign to check children, I just notice that children here are malnourished so we also gave free vitamins for them".

Someone really caught my attention, its about a woman, its Sienna. I was shocked seeing her here, alam kong di ako nagkakamali, how come that she's pregnant and look pale.

"I talk to Dra. Romero because she's the one who took care of Sienna.

"Ahmmm, Dra. Romero I'm just curious about the woman you checked earlier, can I see her medical records"

"Do you know her? Sure, its on the clipboard, I browse the papers and saw her name on it.

Siena Jardine T. Ignacio
26 y/o

Medical Condition:
7 Months pregnant

Diagnosis:
Stage 3 Acute Lymphocytic Leukemia (ALL)

I was shocked, she's diagnosed with ALL and 7 months pregnant? If I'm not mistaken she left 5 months ago, so she left while pregnant already and has cancer?? I think Tyler should know.

I called her number and before he answers the phone bigla na lamang dumating si Dr. Romero.

"Doc Ian, I think I need your help, Ms. Ignacio, the patient from earlier, she badly needs medical attention.

We travel through the chopper and brought her to the nearest hospital near the city.

I tried calling Tyler again, he should know about this, it must be fatal for the both of them.

"Hello Tyler, you need to flew in Batanes right now, somebody needs you here pare, before its too late".
