The Distraction (blarry story)

Chapter 7

Harry and Blaise didn't address that they were about to kiss. They just continued with their sessions. "get ready to loose tomorrow Potter."

Harry rolled his eyes playfully at him, "You're the one that's going to loose Zabini."

Blaise gently pushed him as he laughed. He was going to try his hardest just so Harry woukd have to go down to the slytherin common room with him. They could even go to his room and have more privacy. "we'll see tomorrow Potter, do you want me to walk you to your room?"

Harry shook his head, "I'm actually going to profesor slughorn to ask him something. Good luck tomorrow." Harry stood up.

Blaise stood up with him and took a deep breathe grabbing Harry's hand and kissing it softly. "good luck to you as well." He quickly left before Harry could snap out of his thoughts.

Harry was left there standing with his heart pounding happily. He was sure that he had a very big grin on his face. Harry blushed thinking of how it would be like to kiss him. Balise would obviously have to lean down if they were standing up. He needed to find out soon.

The next morning Ron looked awfully nervous so he got Luna to help him convince Ron that he slipped something in his drink, the liquid luck.

Hermione wasn't too fond of the idea, she told them it was cheating. Obviously he didn't want to tell her or it was going to ruin the whole plan.

The got out to the field, Ron looking more confident than ever. Harry chuckled to himself as the game started.

Even if he was going against his new close friend he gave it his all just like his team mates. That secured them the victory. The gryffindors had won the game and they went in to change whilst celebrating.

Harry was the last one to finish changing. As he quickly toweled his hair he heard someone clear their throat. He turned around and grinned when he saw the tall slytherin. "congrats on the win Harry."

"thank you, you were awesome out there by the way."

It was Blaise's turn to blush, "I just wanted to come tell you that and to have fun tonight with the rest of the gryffindors."

Harry thanked him again grabbing his things. Blaise walked up to him and kissed his hand again, "see you tomorrow."

Harry nodded wordlessly making Blaise chuckle. They were both so red but happy and giddy looking into each other's eyes. Blaise brought the hand up to his lips and gave it one last gentle kiss before leaving.

This was the best day ever.

He walked back to the common room where everyone had already started celebrating. People pushed Ron to the centre congratulating him on his game. Harry and Hermione stood to the side feeling happy that Ron was the center of attention.

Hermione looked at Harry, "you still cheated though."

Harry laughed, "what ever could you mean Mione?"

Hermione rolled her eyes, "you know what I mean Harry."

Harry shook his head confidently, "I absolutely don't know Mione. Maybe I used a confundus charm on the slytherins?"

Harmione his arm, "that was practice. I'm talking about the potion."

Harry took it out to show her it was still full. Hermione was shocked, "you only tricked him?"

Harry nodded, "he's an amazing player, just needed a push to make him feel confident."

Hermione couldn't believe he even managed to trick her and Ginny. She turned back to look at Ron who was smiling from everyone celebrating him. Right when she was going to take a single step to him lavander kissed him in front of everyone. Hermione felt her heart shatter.

Harry saw as his friend ran away from the crowd. He pushed past people and set out to find her. Finally he saw her at the bottom of the stairs, "Mione?"

Hermione sighed, "Harry go back to the celebration."

Harry sat down next to her and placed an arm around her shoulders letting her cry on him. "I'm so stupid."

Harry shook his head placing a gentle kiss on her forehead, "You're absolutely brilliant, Ron's very oblivious."

Hermione let out a weak laugh, "Harry do me a favor, tell Zabini how you feel before you lose him."

Harry blushed, "you knew?"

Hermione nodded, "the way you come back from being with him, the way you avoided the subject, the way you look at him. Merlin talk about oblivious."

Harry chuckled, "hey im supposed to be comforting you."

Hermione hugged his waist, "just do it Harry. I don't want to see you heart broken."

Harry kissed her head again, "I will but not right now. Right now you need me."

Turns out Ron and lavender also made Harry sick. They made out everywhere and anytime. He kept seeing Seamus and Hermione getting jealous and although he tried his best to comfort them it didn't help much.

He hoped they would be fine when he left to give Blaise some muggle candy Remus kindly sent him. He did end up going to the slytherin common room even if Blaise lost the bet since Blaise had convinced him that it was more private.

Blaise inspected the candy closely, "and I won't die from these?"

Harry rolled his eyes playfully, did slytherins have to be so dramatic over everything? "and just why would I want to kill you?"

Blaise gave him a teasing smile, "can't kill someone this handsome?"

"just eat it." Harry said in his best serious tone.

Blaise grabbed a gummy bear, he was pleasantly surprised. "this is actually not that bad."

Harry grinned, "do you want a kiss?"

Blaise blushed, "pardon me ?"

Harry showed him a small chocolate, "a kiss. They're very good."

Blaise pouted cutely grabbing the chocolate and plopping it to his mouth. "they're good but I was expecting something else."

It was now or never, Harry pulled Blaise by his tie and kissed him. Blaise wasted no time in kissing him back. This was by far the best kiss he had ever gotten. It was feirce but soft and with a hit of nervousness.

They pulled back, both smiling like idiots. "the candy was alright but I think your lips were sweeter."

Harry couldn't help but laugh at that, "I guess I could say the same."

"or we could kiss again..." Blaise suggested wiggling his eyebrows.

Harry laughed again, merlin this guy was cute. Harry leaned up again to kiss Blaise. Blaise happily let him take the lead, he knew Harry was amazing at taking the lead on things. He finally found something good about gryffindors.

He didn't know Potter was such a good kisser.

Blaise parted to catch his breath, "merlin I've been wanting to do that for some time now."

"me too." Harry admitted.

Balsie looked down at his lap, "then do you maybe want to be my boyfriend?"

Harry grinned, "yes!"

Blaise tackled him in a hug as they both giggled with happiness.

Suddenly Draco entered, "sorry needed a book." He looked over at his friend ans smiled, "well well well, I'm guessing you finally told him"

Harry raised an eyebrow at his now boyfriend. Blaise sat up glaring at his friend. Draco held his hands up, "Fine fine. I'll go, next time tell me when you bring Potter here and I won't disturb."

Harry was amazed by this side of Draco, he had only seen him as a rude person but here he was being a normal teen with his best friend. Once Draco left Blaise placed his head on Harry's chest. They still needed to talk about Draco's situation but that could wait. Right now he just wanted to relax and feel happy with his new boyfriend.
