Hello there! Here are some notes about this series (and this book's cast list):
Series:
• I will be using the pronouns she/her so sorry if that's not what you go by
• I won't do smut so please don't ask
• Idea of doing a notes section taken from "The Boy Who Loved" which is amazing and you should totally read it!
• I'm aware that it's awkward if people flirt in the first two years so a) it'll be more like banter and b) tell that to my class at school (I'm in grade 7)
• Yes I comment on my own books so don't be surprised by that
• I genuinely enjoy reading comments so comment away
• Some swearing but not much so for age rating like 12+ maybe?
• Mostly fluff
• Kinda slow-burn because they're not officially dating until 4th year
• I'm pretty much basing (y/n) on myself so anything (y/n) says is what I would say in that situation (but sometimes it'll be what I'd want to say, that doesn't mean I would actually have the courage to do it lol).
• Some references and slang will be from more recent years (*cough cough* Percy Jackson references *cough*)
• I would just like to say this right now: I AM NOT BRITISH! If someone's talking and it sounds really North American that's because I actually have to think about it to write in British and my writing isn't as good when I think (lol don't ask). Anyways, then I'll remember it's supposed to be British so I'll stick some phrase in there that's really British and it can be surprising.
So basically if the vocab changes randomly don't sue me :/
• Yeah so remember I said y/n is based on me? Well, I'm sorting her into the wrong house according to being like me (I can't tell you where she's going though because ✨suspense✨)
• As you all say Harry is "possessed" by James sometimes
• If the parts of this get randomly sappy it's because my writing gets sappy at 1am so sorry
• I did base these off the movies just because that's easier to remember but if there's a thing I remember from the books that's different I'll probably do that instead
• I may borrow/tweak other people's ideas sometimes but I promise I'll give credit and if I don't let me know
• Please correct my spelling mistakes and you can literally be rude about it idc
• I'll try and update regularly but I promise nothing
