Xin Lisa disagreed, “Even if he doesn’t like you, he doesn’t have to be so narrow-minded that he needs to kill you. Also, did you forget that you have support from the Xin Family?”

Xin Lisa didn’t forget, but she also remembered how Xin’s Family was like an unstable building; it fell so easily when Jungkook  moved his fingers.

She didn’t know how to explain everything to Xin Ten, so she said, “Sometimes, it’s just better to have a backup plan.”

Xin Ten looked at her intensely and said after a while, “I think you got sick this time because of grieving. You never thought so much before, how come after you fell, you changed entirely.”

Xin Ten often doubted if she was his biological sister. But her look and appearance, if it’s not her then who is it?

Xin Lisa can’t help but replied, “I also hope that I’m just overthinking.”

Xin Ten saw that she was still lifeless, he thought of something and asked, “Was what you told Weng Jennie true?” 

“What did I say?” Xin Lisa didn’t know what he was talking about.

Xin Ten stared at her and lazily asked, “Jeon Jungkook likes someone?”

Xin Lisa nodded, “Yeah! The whole school knows.”

Xin Ten looked at her suspiciously. He had asked someone to go to the school to find some information, but all the gossip in the academy was all about Xin Lisa.

Xin Lisa said, “Jungkook and Sheng Eunha are a perfect couple!”

“Sheng Eunha?”

“Yeah, she went abroad, but she will be back in two years.”

“How do you know?”

After she was questioned by Xin Ten, Xin Lisa realized that she accidentally slipped up, so she explained laughingly, “Mao Mingyu said that! Oh, he’s Jungkook’s friend.”

“Is his last name Mao?” Xin Ten asked with a frown face.

Xin Lisa didn’t think too much of it and only nodded, “Yeah. Why? Do you know him?”

Xin Ten only looked at her meaningfully, of course he knew who Mao Mingyu was. In order for Xin Lisa to get closer to Jeon Jungkook, she had bothered Mao Mingyu the most before. However, being close friends with Jeon Jungkook wasn’t a good thing.

“Don’t get too close to him.” Xin  Ten said while driving.

Xin Lisa didn’t think it matters since they wouldn’t often meet each other, so she replied readily, “Okay!” 

After Xin Lisa left the hospital, Xin Ten stayed in A City two more days. But due to his continuously accumulating work, he had to rush back to Shengjin City.

“If the same thing happens again next time, you are going back to Shengjin City and don’t ever think about going anywhere again.” Xin Ten said as he was about to leave.

Xin Lisa wisely nodded her head and pretended to be obedient, “Okay, I will promise to eat and exercise every day. I will take care of my body!” 

Xin Ten glanced at her; he was clearly not convinced by her words.

But he found her a reliable housemaid before he left. Xin Ten told the housemaid to cook for Xin Lisa 3 times a day and help her clean the house.

Xin Lisa became speechless. It wasn’t like she didn’t know how to do those chores!

But when she argued with Xin Ten, he replied coldly, “The only thing in your refrigerator are noodles, do you think I can trust you?”

Xin Lisa forced herself to smile. She really knew how to cook, but she thought that it was just too much work and a waste of time, so she usually ate meals that were easy to cook. Who would’ve thought that her brother would actually underestimate her cooking skills! Xin Lisa believed it was about time for her to show off her skills and scare him to death!

After Xin Ten  left, Xin Lisa’s life went back to normal. She went to school in the morning and learned to dance and to play the piano at night. To sum it up, she was pretty busy.

The same happened to Jeon Jungkook. After he returned to Shengjin City, he was extremely busy. He often worked overtime and constantly engaged in social activities related to his business.

In the middle of June, the new company was finally established. Jeon Jungkook didn’t go to the official establishment event of his company. He simply left all the work to the person in charge– Mao Mingyu.

Feeling perplexed, Mao Mingyu asked, “You founded the company, so why aren’t you attending such an important event?”

Jungkook simply replied, “I just want to see how far the company can go without Jeon Family’s protection.”

Mao Mingyu understood part of his intention, but he didn’t fully understand everything. Why was he trying to prove his own capabilities when the continuously growing Jeon Company was the best proof of his abilities?

Jungkook didn’t want to utilize the Jeon Family’s resources for this company, it was such a pity. Mao Mingyu thought that if the two companies merged together, it would be possible for the newly merged company to become the world’s most powerful company!

However, Mao Mingyu kept the thought to himself and followed Jungkook’s will to the end.

Nobody can prevent Jeon Jungkoom from doing what he wanted to do.
