“If it weren’t for him, I would probably be a corpse right now. Brother, I brought harm to him. He didn’t need to suffer from this unnecessary trouble!”

“You don’t need to overly blame yourself. Maybe this was meant to happen to him.”

“No, no. He would be safe the whole time until the end. He didn’t need to experience this!”

“Since he would be safe until the end, then you should be more at ease. He will be fine.” Xin Ten wanted to speak then stopped again. He was unwilling to say that she was being overly worried. 

When Xin Lisa arrived at the hospital, she originally was scared that the elders of Jeon Family would scold her, but Old Man Jeon just stared meaningfully at her and didn’t do anything else. Naturally, he didn’t seem that enthusiastic about her. He ignored her presence the entire time. 

Xin Lisa sat alone in the hospital’s corridors. She waited a few hours but still didn’t see Jungkook waking up. 

Xin Jin and the rest of them arrived at the hospital. After chatting a bit with the elders of Jeon Family, they looked at their daughter. He said in a deep voice, “Even if you wait here, he won’t wake up immediately. The doctor said that he is out of danger. He will wake up sooner or later.”

“Lisa, don’t worry. Let mother take you to check out your injury.”

Xin Lisa seemed to have forgotten how her body was full of injuries. When Xin Ten advised her to check out her injuries, she was unwilling to leave Jungkookat all. Now that she saw that numerous people surrounded him, she seemed to be the one left out.

She couldn’t help but to raise her head. She stared at Bai Jisoo in persistence. “Mother, when he wakes up, I want to be with him, ok?”

Bai Jisoo suddenly froze. Then she turned around to look at Xin Jin.

His face became gloomy but he said, “You can do whatever you want. No matter what your decision is, as long as you think you’re right, your mother and I will support you.”

“Father, mother, but I’m afraid…” Xin Lisa’s eyes turned red. “I’m scared that after I changed the ending, he or I or you guys will experience unnecessary trouble…”

“Foolish child. Life is determined by fate. If we live with a frank and open mind but still can’t avoid the calamity, there’s nothing wrong with it. In the end, it’s all fate. Just like you. It’s fate how you came to our side.” Bai Jisoo said this and faintly smiled. There was happiness and sorrow in her smile. 

Xin Lisa’s eyes flickered and her voice trembled. “Father, mother, you guys…”

“We all know. So, child, blessings and calamities come together. It had been like this since ancient times. Since we can’t avoid this, let us enjoy the blessings. If you really like him, fight for him. Leave whatever you need to face in the future for the future you.”

Xin Lisa was very touched by Bai Jisoo’s words. “Thank you mother and father.”

Jungkook was unconscious for an entire day and night. He didn’t wake up until the next morning. He gradually woke up and wanted to turn his body over before he felt the intense pain on his back. 

When Jeon Jungkook saw this, he hurriedly said, “Don’t do this to yourself. Lay on your stomach.”  

Jungkook tried his best to move his body up. He asked, “Father, why are you here?”

“How could I not be here when you injured yourself like this?”

Jungkook thought about what happened and couldn’t help but raise his voice. He asked, “What about her? Is she ok? Where is she now?”

“Is she more important than your life?” Jeon Taehyung was unhappy. 

“More important.” He responded. 

Jeon Taehyung’s face turned gloomy. “I really can’t see anything good about her that makes you…”

“Everything is good about her.” Jungkook hastily asked, “Father, is she ok?”

“You just need to take care of yourself.”
