Amalis couldn't even finish her sentence when she heard a loud thud from the door. She was currently staying at Atty. Sylas de Luca's place. She suddenly heard his scream as a number of royal guards entered inside the aparment.
"Amalia, run!" Sylas shouted at her. Bago pa man makatakbo si Amalia ay kaagad siyang hinarang ng isa pang royal guard.
She was already crying while facing them. "What are you doing?!" The guards were trying to hold her off, grabbing both of her arms. "Bitawan niyo ako! I am the princess! You can't arrest me!"
Parang man lang walang narinig ang mga ito sa pagsisisigaw niya. The guards were dragging her out from the apartment. Sylas, on the other hand, was also surrounded by the guards. Pinipigilan din ng mga ito si Sylas na lapitan siya. She could also hear Sylas screaming at them.
"Bitawan niyo si Amalia! Do not arrest her please! Fucking arrest me instead!" She heard him shouting those words repeatedly but the guards didn't budge.
"Sylas!" She cried his name. "Sylas! Tulungan mo 'ko! Ayokong makulong!" Pagmamakaawa niya. She already knew that her older half-brother, the current King, Madrid Anselmo, finally learned the truth about the association—when Gonzalo Martin, his most trusted private secretary itself committed treason by joining the revolutionary group. Alam niyang alam na rin nito na kasama siya association na gustong magpabagsak sa kanya at sa Prime Minister.
And probably Madrid wants her arrested and be punished with death penalty too.
"Bitawan niyo siya!" She saw Sylas finally breaking free from the guard's grip and when he was about to approach her, she screamed when she saw one of the guards shot Sylas on his chest.
"Sylas!!!" She screamed in horror as she saw the blood pouring out from Sylas' chest. The guards were still forcing and dragging her out from the apartment. A few seconds later, she was already inside the black car where the guards held her captive. Her cries wouldn't stop.
They killed Sylas.
The royal guards killed him.
The King killed him.
And she's next.
