Yes, this is a remake of an old cover for my book. I've made a lot of covers for my book because I think most graphic artists obviously spoil their own books first. But this remake was mainly about outdoing myself. Its why I do so many cover remakes, I'm always topping the last one, plus uh, I don't always have ideas for new covers but want to make covers so why not?
I added X-13 to the gun, X-13 is a reference to something in my book. It's a detail most readers won't notice, even if they know what the reference would be to. The custom-made sigil in the background is a reference as well, though it's not something people will pay attention to either. But, I still like adding tiny little details such as that to covers when I can, even if it's just for myself.
