The place

One fine day
I walked into this queer place
Unaware of what it had in store for me
Oblivious that its gonna be the site of so many unprecedented things
Going to the scene almost everyday was something I could not evade
Initial days were like walking on a rough terrain,
Hard, exhausting, painful and melancholic
Sometimes exhilarating too
Eventually you get used to it, do you?
Gradually made some mates,
one too coveted to lose
Then stumbled upon someone,
Thought we would stride till posterity
We did not, like everything else transient
Moments of regret embedded me at times
I wished of a time when this place was unknown to me
Wishful thinking much!!
It was a short while(some say) , not for me though
I thought its never gonna end,
I wanted it to or not!? Idk
But it did conclude
The memories I gathered will remain precious, unequivocally
Good or Bad or fun or sad - can't really attribute an adjective,
For it was something indescribable
Etched in my heart, body and soul till eternity.
