A deep voice bellowed causing Lillac and Aera to shudder from the sheer pressure it contained
"I didn't mean to Uncle." Aera said, as she kept her head bowed in front of the man.
Ever since the suicide attempt Aera and Lillac had been prepping for their uncle's fury
"And I did not give you permission to speak." The man said "Do you know how it felt when that red haired fox jovially informed me that my own niece tried to take her life over a man? A man that I had specifically instructed her not to get involved with?"
"U-"
"Silence! First you rudely reject the head. Fine, no one should force the young ones together. But then you settle for an S rank hunter? And even after going behind my back he still dumped you??? In a public setting for that matter?!?"

The phone call was cut short causing Lillac to release a relieved sigh

Aera laid belly down on her sister's bed, it had been a day since she was discharged and her Uncle wasted no time calling to reprimand her
"Why does everyone keep talking about the time I rejected him? It was ages ago and-"
"5 years, 7 months and 3 days ago to be exact."
"Exactly! Ages ago, and I rejected politely-"
"You told him you were asexual."
"That was a perfectly suitable response to dissuade his advances."
"You came a week later, gushing to aunt about some guy you had fallen in love with."
"Well maybe he turned me straight?"
"Aera. Imagine sung jinwoo rejecting you in the name of being gay and dating the cha girl a week after."
"Well, I became jinwoosexual."
"That is not a-"
*sigh*
"Whatever. Anyways, uncle told us to come home. Get packing."
"But I don't want to." Aera pouted
"Well guess what? You 'abused' the freedom he gave us and now we're both headed back to Canada." Lilac scoffed, bringing out a travel bag and opening it
"Tch. I don't like Canada."
"Please, you don't like anywhere the guy isn't at."
Aera rolled over unto her back, her gaze at the roof turning serious
"He came yesterday."

"I figured." Lilac threw some clothes into the bag, wanting to keep herself busy. To think of something else.
"He told me that confidence suited you more."
She would be lying if she said her heart didn't skip a beat at that
She'd be lying if she said heat didn't form in her cheeks
"I don't care."
She would be lying if she said she didn't care.
"Awww shucks~ I thought I could tease you about something" Aera breathed out, standing up from the bed and walking to the door
"Well, I guess it would be pathetic if you were still in love with him after everything." Aera's voice lowered, her gaze turning cold for a second as she stopped, right hand on the handle
